I’d say RWBY’s worse. I mean, only one of these fanbases have misgendered me, called me ablest slurs(with usually the favorite being the r-word if they couldn’t get creative with it), sent at least 40+ anonymous hate messages into my inbox in the span of like a month and a half, accused me of being a terrorist apologist because I said their favorite show’s writing was racist in a respectful manner, accused me of being a terrorist apologist again because someone else said that their favorite show’s writing was antisemitic in a respectful manner and I gave them a place to voice that opinion, wished harassment on me, threatened to dox me if I continued on with a poll tournament I was running at the time I was @copaganda-clobberfest btw, and lastly,
took me saying, hell— just implying, that RWBY contained deeply racist stereotypes in its writing surrounding civil rights groups and violent vs peaceful protest… took me saying that, took me criticizing a fictional show’s fictional characters,
and proudly told me,

that if a black man r*ped a white woman, I’d defend the man just because he was black.

So to get 3 simple things out of the way.
Why am I concluding this poll?
What am I going to do afterwards?
What will I do with this blog?
Starting with 1. I had two reasons to stop this poll. The first of which being, my mental health.
Ever since I started this blog my mental state has just been on a decline that has gradually gotten steeper and steeper and worse and worse. I’ve been having really bad depressive episodes along with just… general shitty stuff. I don’t want to get too personal, but there ya go.
The second reason is due to the hate I kept receiving anonymously. It was bound to happen, I just wish it didn’t keep coming every time I didn’t entertain it. I’d delete these asks and then new ones would show up.
I know it was probably just me pussying out over fucking tumblr anons, but given my mental health at the time (and still currently)… I wasn’t going to entertain it for a second.
2. What am I going to do afterwards? Well, I am running @let-them-fight , so that’s probably something. 😁
3. What am I going to do with this blog?
I’m not gonna delete it, and I’m still probably going to use it in some way or another. I might even rework it and make an entirely different tournament out of this blog in the future… in the future, that is.
So until that happens.
