The origin of Rave Up goes back to 1979. From 1980 to 1983 Rave Up was often to be found on Swiss stages in three different line-ups. The backbone of the current repertoire are cover versions of original compositions from Rave Up's first life. There are also a number of new songs and some popular hit covers from the 70s and 80s.

14.10.2020 Raid 409 at Cooper's! Raid 409, as the name suggests, stands for an assault-like attack with potential for conflict at all levels of the art of having fun without inhibitions. These levels are represented by the three Ps. P for power, P for punk and P for party. Power? The four boys ignite a real firework on the stage and transmit this power to the audience. Punk? Despite their unique mix of punk and alternative rock, they are not averse to performing a ballad. You never know what's next. Party? Even after the performance there is still time to party with the band. The total demolition is preprogrammed when it says: power, punk and party!

24.10 Caffeinated Rock & Roll. Rock and roll containing caffeine. What can that mean? Rhythmic guitar riffs and groovy beats that invite you to dance. Like after a strong cup of coffee. You wake up, start to snap your fingers, your legs get nervous and before you know it, you are fidgeting like crazy. Caffeinated Rock & Roll brings enough filth for rock lovers, but still proves to be easy to digest for all types of listeners.

Brendan Wade is currently one of the most requested and significant professional musicians from Ireland, currently residing in Switzerland.

The two musicians from Seagulls met in Germany - they have been living in Switzerland since 2001. The duo's sound is full of energy, the songs tell stories. In addition to dance events (ceilidh and set dance), the duo will present a varied program of traditional tunes and songs from Ireland and Scotland in a concert setting. As multi-instrumentalists, they also like to take a trip to American music (bluegrass, oldtime, Cajun).
