The sky completely erupted tonight—an insane gradient blending fierce golden light at the horizon with deep, dramatic magentas and blues charging through the clouds. The way the reflection painted the water while the small vessels cut through the glow made for the perfect compression of city, sea, and sky.

Visited the aquarium at Hong Kong Ocean Park today and stumbled upon this massive, towering pillar tank. The way hundreds of silver fish swim in a synchronized swirl under that moody blue light is just unreal. It feels so surreal standing at the base looking up—major cinematic vibes!

There is a specific kind of peace that only an Okinawa sunset can bring. Watching the sun slowly dip below the horizon, casting shades of gold and soft pastel orange across the water while a lone cruiser cuts through the gentle waves—it completely resets your mind.

When capturing this photo, I was completely drawn in by the ruthless symmetry of the space. The way the brushed metallic panels flank the corridor creates a perfect framing effect, pulling your eyes straight toward that iconic, glowing logo in the center. The sharp, clean geometry slicing through the soft overhead glow creates an incredible depth of field that feels almost like a rendering rather than a real space.

When you’re rushing through an airport to catch a flight, it’s easy to keep your eyes glued to your passport or your phone. But if you just pause and look up, you can always find something entirely different. Capturing the soaring ceiling of Hong Kong International Airport, it reminded me of why I love urban photography. From this perspective, the grand, sweeping waves of the roof structure create a beautiful, repeating rhythm that feels incredibly cinematic. The stark, clean geometry of the metallic beams cutting across the soft overhead lighting creates a perfect play of highlights and deep shadows.

This is the art of bamboo scaffolding. It is a fragile yet incredibly resilient matrix wrapped around the city's towering geometry. Seeing natural material adapt so seamlessly to hyper-urban structures always stops me in my tracks.

Within this complex, woven skeleton, there is a quiet, rhythmic order—a perfect example of Wabi-Sabi (the beauty of the imperfect and impermanent) hidden right in the middle of the urban hustle. It is structural logic, organic warmth, and architectural heritage all tied together by hand.

Out in the wild, nature doesn’t just show off its beauty in real-time—sometimes it locks it away for hundreds of millions of years. Take a look at this. This is an absolutely mind-blowing fossil of a Crinoid (Crinoidea), often called a "sea lily," though they were actually marine animals related to starfish and sea urchins.

Finding something this incredibly well-preserved out on an expedition is like discovering a prehistoric piece of fine art. The fine, fan-like tendrils and complex, branch-like skeletal structures spread out across the rock matrix look almost identical to a petrified bouquet of flowers. Every single delicate line was captured perfectly under the sediment, freezing a vibrant, ancient seabed directly into the stone.
