the movie showing how jean can feel whatever her “host” is feeling can only mean that during all those excruciating hours that peter was on the surgical table and she was the only thing keeping him alive, she very probably felt everything—every needle, every stitch, every poke and prod. and yet she stayed because peter promised her she wouldn’t be alone anymore, so she’s sure as hell gonna make sure he won’t be either.

The fact that Peter yearned for Ned and vice versa because that app was totally Ned trying to, subconsciously, find Peter. The fact that MJ and Ned lived together for 4 years and are a family who worry and care about each other. The fact that Jean and Peter formed a brother-sister relationship by the end. PLATONIC LOVE FOR THE WIN!

Also I really like how they had Peter apologize for kissing MJ, like in that specific situation there's not really any way he could have known it was all a ruse, but its still really nice that they had him explicitly apologize onscreen for violating her boundaries

ned remembering the handshake with peter, causing something to click for him about who peter was.

point is that ned and peter are the best friends to ever best friend, and that platonic loves come in for the win in bnd!!!!!!!!

My interpretation of the handshake is that it was muscle memory, and his clicking at the name was him remembering that Spider-Man's name is Peter. That doesn't make it less impactful, however, because Ned was looking for Spider-Man to thank him, as per to his theory that Spider-Man meant something for him. So even though he doesn't remember him, the handshake confirms for him that Peter does actually mean something

SPIDERMAN BND SPOILERS!!!!!!

i love peter & mj together but i really appreciate the fact that the movie didn't have an easy fix to the spell. like she doesn't just suddenly get her memories back, and after reading the letter she doesn't just fall back in love (bc he is still just a stranger to her!!). she gets to be a little angry that part of her life was torn away, but is also aware that both her & ned mean a lot to peter and is kind to him, inviting him to the apartment and letting him decide if he wants to tell ned. the nwh ending was a huge moment for peter & before this movie came out i was a little worried they'd just kinda undo / gloss over it, but they're actually working through the consequences and fallout which was so nice

The fact that they put yelena in a movie with two sisters one blonde and one redhead and one of them is dead and the fact they made yelena the one to tell peter that jean has a sister…brutal
