Im sharing this here because even though my twitter is my main social platform, I cant even begin to explain how bad the environment of pressure has become for the past few days. I mean, its expected cause its twitter. But, I've never seen it get as worse as it is right now.

Even if youre not actively commenting on the situation, theres always someone bringing it up in the comments unprompted, finding any reason to insult others for no good reason, and leaving AI generated images of Ren under any pressure related post.

It has gotten. So bad.

Im not saying people cant talk about the situation, but the pressure fandom has become so hostile in all directions that its just negativity all around, even opening up to speak about it gets you lambasted by a mob of hate.

And the situation itself? Its super complicated.

I wont ever know what happened in that hotel room between Ren and Zeal, and theres a possibility that we'll never find out the truth as things are not moving legally anymore. But one thing I will make clear: I will never support Zeal.

I still want believe that Ren is a victim of SA based on the experienced she shared, and im trying to look at every other possibility and argument people are presenting online. I wont know the truth, but if she was harmed in any way, physically or mentally, during RDC2025, I sympathise with her on that front. I really hope she can, at the very least, be safe with her family right now.

And even in the worst case if Ren did lie, what about every other issue pressure had? Zeal was still a bad boss who mistreated his coworkers. I had many gripes with the dev team that were only addressed when the situation happened, such as many artists who worked on the project being unpaid, to bigger figures in the project silently controlling how the fandom behaved. There were way too many flaws with this team for me to just ignore and it has made me only frustrated, now that the full extent of their damage was brought up online.

But now that the issue is "resolved" (resolved? my ass), its really hard to just keep moving on and continue enjoying pressure like i did. Maybe I'll only do that with sebastian as his character a personal comfort for me and ive already considered myself "detatched" from the main pressure fandom since 2025, but for the whole fandom in general? its not even worth going back to. its filled with people who are still hostile and will take any chance to hate others and spread negativity no matter what. and im thinking, if i went back, would facing all of this be worth it? would doing anything for a fandom thats this shitty be worth it?

I promised one last pressure merch shop update since last month, and I wanna keep living up to that promise, unless I do an interest check later and find out people arent interested anymore. and going forward idek what ill do. maybe i need more time but,, im mostly just disappointed.

Again, I'd rather not say this on Twitter with the fear of getting harassed, so this is a better spot to talk about it, I think

I am (still) in full support of Ren's experiences as a victim of SA.

I know some people have called her out for her fair share of mistakes in the past. And also that she's lied about some stuff. Yes, this doesn't make her look any good, and I don't condone any of those actions either.

But do her not-so-good actions mean she's immediately not worthy of getting support as an SA victim? Absolutely fucking not

I think what frustrates me the most is that a lot of people see Ren's mistakes and immediately call it grounds to justify her experiences of SA as being invalid just because of her bad actions in the past. Two things can be true at once; Ren can do bad things while also being a victim of something horrible. I think it's super evil to wish ill on her and disregard any of her experiences of SA just because you found another reason to dog on her. She especially doesn't deserve harassment at all.

It's especially sad to see how many people are so adamantly focused on harassing Ren over this. Like, even if she did lie about all this, seeing people's thought processes and how they've gone about causing unrest not only for Ren but also for other people in the community is scary too.
