Steph: Do you draw people?

Steph: What do you draw? And idk I guess I'm just curious

Steph: What's your favorite thing to do, Elliot?

Steph: I understand what you mean. But I think life is capable of surprising you too.

Steph: As to who you end up think ing up of as special I mean.

Steph: Good. I didn't want you missing out. But I'm sure friends could have a good time too.

Steph: I mean I thought it could be.

Steph: You're not upset about not going to prom are you?

Steph: I mean I know it's my senior prom but I just want a night I won't regret and a night spent with you wouldn't be that. I promise.

Steph: Yeah

Steph: We don't have to if you don't want to.

Steph: That's sweet of you to say, Elliot. I always find myself happier after I talk to you.

Steph: I don't know? We've been flirting but it's nothing serious. He's nice and cute which are definitely pluses but I think if something meant to happen it will and if it's not it won't. Anyways as of right now, my Saturday night is free so I was just going to ask if you wanted to hang out?

Elliot: Yeah

Steph: gotcha

Steph: nope I thought he might ask me but nothing. Honestly, he probably flirts with a lot of girls if we're honest with ourselves. I'm not too disappointed though.

Elliot: He's probably gonna ask you, he's just taking a while. He'd be stupid not to.

Steph: Anything fun to do there? I think I might not end up going myself.

Elliot: Uh my aunts probably gonna cook dinner and then we might watch a movie or something.

Steph: Hi! I was gonna ask if you had any prom plans?

Steph: hey hey :)

“Oh alright. That makes sense… Are you saying I’m not your friend though?” she asked teasingly. She had been to Hogsmeade with him and their group of friends before though. She’d missed a couple recent ones though so the joke sort of worked. 

Elliot’s eyes went wide at the question, not quite catching that she was only teasing him. “Oh, no, I didn’t mean- Of course you’re my friend, Steph,” he told her earnestly. “You know you’re always welcome with us,” he said, referring in general to their usual group of hufflepuffs. 

“Yeah,” she agreed nodding. “They are really pretty though. Have you thought about asking any of them out to hogsmade? I could help you,” she suggested.

Elliot was really caught off guard by the question. “Oh, no. No,” he shook his head softly. “I don’t think so. I usually just go with my friends.”

“Noted, I’ll keep that in mind, Elliot.”

“Cool,” he says in response, wanting to keep the conversation going but not sure how. “Cool,” he says it again, this time softer, looking away slightly as he stuffs his hands in the pockets of his robes.

Stephanie blushed slightly realizing what she’d said she hadn’t meant to point out her thought that he held some sort of inclination for her. “Oh, nothing,” she shook her head sheepishly,”I don’t know,” she said.

Elliot frowned, considering her response for a while before just shrugging it off. “Well, I don’t think you should let those girls get to you,” he told her finally.
