* BRUTAL / CALLOUS.

SHAKING ,   he’s   standing   there   shaking   with   anger   and   pain.     another   fight   is   all   it   was ,   it   was   practically   ROUTINE   at   this   point.     they’d   get   on   each   other’s   nerves ,   snap ,   it’d   end   with   an   EXPLOSIVE   FIGHT  and   then   messy   make   up   sex.     but   this   time   it   was   DIFFERENT ,   this   time   the   words   cut   Stingray   deep ,   deeper   than   usual.     there’s   an   angry   sneer   that   has   jaggedly   carved   itself   into   his   features   as   he   hyperventilates ,   fists   balled   up   tight   and   teeth   grit   as   he   listens   to   his   lover   scream   before   he   interrupts   with   his   own   HOWLING.     and   just   like   the   fight ,   this   time   his   screaming   was   different ,   much   more   angry ,   his   bitterness   and   volatile   nature   were   overflowing   as   he   shrieks.

❝   ---  WHAT   DO   YOU   KNOW   ABOUT   WHERE   I   CAME   FROM ?     ABOUT   WHO   MADE   ME ?     I   DON’T   EVEN   KNOW   WHO   MADE   ME !!!   --   and   I   am   NOT   GOING   TO   LET   YOU   STAND   THERE   AND   REMIND   ME   OF   EVERYTHING   I   HATE   ABOUT   MYSELF.     I   never   asked   for   this   I   NEVER   ASKED   TO   BE   MADE !!! ❞

by   the   time   he’s   done   SCREECHING   his   voice   is   hoarse ,   his   eyes   are   wet   and   he’s   offering   short   gasping   breaths   with   momentary   swallows.     he   breaks   apart   in   front   of   ray ,   curling   away   and   bawling   violently   as   he   backs   up   and   crumbles   up   against   the   wall ,   sliding   down   slowly   as   he   caves   in   on   himself.     ray   had   FOUND   IT ,   his   button ,   his   weakness ,   the   breech   in   his   defenses ,   the   chink   in   his   armor.     And   with   a   swift   jab   he   had   sent   the   man   he   loved ---   THE   ONE   WHO   NEVER   BROKE   -- crumbling   in   on   himself.
