Hi, I thought I would make this post to both raise awareness and create a safe, positive environment for people suffering from cancer or people who know others suffering from it.

I've found Labo-H shampoo, Kerastase hair oil, wide toothed comb (when my hair is wet) and the hairbrush listed on the Macmillan website to try and help my hair on chemo. It is already healthy to begin with. I've only ever used T-Gel 2 in 1 for dandruff, washed my hair twice a week and used a tangle teaser brush. To dry my hair, I put it in a towel for about five minutes before using a hair dryer. I plan on air drying while on chemo, maybe even a microfiber shirt to get the thick wet off.

I'm getting a PET-CT scan the week after next to see what stage I am (hoping stage one ofc or favourable stage two) and an echocardiogram the day after, for (presumably) to see if I can handle chemo. Then getting my port fitted on the 18th, which then I will get chemo for the first time.
