Man was not made to blow out air

Thus the Sage rules     by stilling minds and opening hearts     by filling bellies and strengthening bones He shows people how to be simple     and live without desires To be content     and to not look for other ways With the people so pure Who could trick them? What clever ideas could lead them astray?When action is pure and selfless     everything settles into its own perfect place

The Sage acts without action     and teaches without talking All things flourish around him     and he does not refuse any of them He gives but not to receive He works but not for reward He completes but not for results He does nothing for himself in this passing world     so nothing he does ever passes

But as the beating of the heart may be regarded as something that happens or something that you do, depending on the point of view, so another will feel that he has experienced, not a transcendent God, but his own inmost nature.

Spiritual awakening is the difficult process whereby the increasing realization that everything is as wrong as it can be flips suddenly into the realization that everything is as right as it can be. Or better, everything is as It as it can be

Often, the pleasure of the experience is confused with the experience and the insight is lost in the ecstasy, so that in trying to retain the secondary effects of the experience the individual misses the point - that the immediate now is complete even when it is not ecstatic. For ecstasy is a necessary impermanent contrast in the constant fluctuation of feelings.
