though... i'm not particularly fond of tea? it sort of just tastes like bankruptcy to me (that is, very watery and flavourless) whilst coffee seems to have more substance to it, hence my preference.
however! i think the tea issue can be fixed specifically if it's spiced chai, because the spices cancel out the bankruptcy taste. so i suppose it's not the case that i despise tea so much as i'm a bit picky about it?
as for coffee i don't particularly mind how i take it! i prefer with sugar than without, but other than that i will be happy regardless.

well, to answer your question — it's really hard to choose just one code, 'cause there's just so many out there, y'know?
some i like that come to mind, though... hm. well, there's good ol' ROT-13, of course. a classic. and morse is good as well because people actually know it.
personally quite partial to the Vigenere cipher myself, however. if i had a favourite it'd be that! i find the way it's encrypted is very fun.
