All the Juice, None of the Pulp

Sorry for not posting much, I haven't been thrifting much of anything and my spare time has mostly been gaming more than crafting. I should talk more about that, I just feel like I have less to say about it lol.

I also moved very recently and unpacking is going to be A Long Ongoing Process, so please excuse that these photos are of everyone in their fresh-from-the-fleamarket uncleaned state, instead of the post-cleaning photos I usually prefer to share.

First off I got a great deal on this 1996 30th Anniversary Reproduction Francie! Her glasses are there, they just fell in the box. This doll has been on my wishlist for a very long time. I am not an in-box collector by any means, as I've reiterated before, but I'll try to keep her in box at least for now. As much as I REALLY REALLLYYYYYY want to dress her in the Gad-About repro outfit...so cute. It helps that I have a vintage Francie already to play around with, to curb the temptation.

First on the top left is 2000 Jewel Girl Barbie with part of her original stock outfit, although it's mostly in rough shape (partly because that faux leather of her jacket doesn't age well). I had her when I was a kid, and in fact I thrifted another years and years ago when I first got back into dolls as an adult collector, but didn't hang onto her. But I fully intend to hang onto this one! She might end up rebodied, as she has quite a lot of chew marks on her arms and legs, but we'll see.

Next is 1996 Sparkle Beach Teresa, brunette ver. Apparently this doll can also be found in a red haired variant, although it doesn't seem to have been an official/advertised thing, which I thought was super interesting. She has her stock bathing suit and jewelery!

Then we have 2002 Salon Surprise Teresa, wearing a dress from the 1994 line of Barbie Fashion Greeting Cards. I actually already have two other dresses from that line as well.

Next is 1994 Holiday Dreams Barbie. She has her stock Santa hat and dress, which is honestly what draws me to her; the dress has little mice behaving festively, and paired with the oversize ruffle and bow, it's so adorably kitsch that I had to have her!

On the bottom left is 1994 Tropical Splash Skipper, wearing what appears to be 1994 Camp Barbie's jacket, shirt and shorts, so that's fun.

Finally, on the bottom right is a 2019 Creatable World doll with straight strawberry-blonde hair. I've gotten a few of these before; the clothes they came with are fantastic and the dolls themselves are very nice, but I've only got one I've kept as is as of right now, because I've rebodied other dolls on to the rest of them. Their big heads have grown on me a little bit, though. I might keep this one as is as well, so the two of them can be friends. I believe the shirt and shorts are Barbie brand but haven't identified them.

And if course last but certainly not least we have some of my beloved TY beanie babies!

On the top are two McDonald's Teenie Beanie Babies from 1997, Chops the Lamb and Patti the Platypus.

I've been feeling awful about spring and summer coming and mourning winter, so to counteract that, here's my cute collection of Tea Bunnies being all spring-like!

In the back is my large Rose Bonnet plush, and in the front from left to right are my vinyl adult figures: Pansy Parfait with original clothes and hat, Petunia Petal with original dress and bunny-size teacup, and Buttercup Honey with custom clothes and hat.

I was finally able to find one of the fashion packs from the second wave of the licensed Glam Squad Strawberry Shortcake line at Five Below! This is the Lime Chiffon pack, and I'm really hoping my local store will restock these so I can hopefully get the Strawberry Shortcake and Raspberry Tart ones.

I think this one is cute, I'm surprisingly enjoying the combo of the soft pink and green! As with the first wave, I'm continuing to try these on different doll body styles as I'm able, for the purposes of comparison.

So on the left is the dress and bag accessory on a Wild Hearts Crew Cori Cruize body. The dress fits really well and looks amazing! It has a back that partially opens with a velcro closure, then the rest of the skirt is sewn together. I thrifted the WHC doll recently and rebodied this basic/budget butterfly swimsuit Barbie with the Christie mold. She didn't have any of her clothes or anything so please excuse the Hasbro Anna boots (not from the fashion pack), I don't have any extra WHC shoes around.

On the right is the tube top, jacket, and pants on a Liv doll body (her head is from a pink Barbie fairy from 2008). I'd say it definitely works, however, the fit isn't the best. These fashion packs seemingly work best with dolls that have a slightly fuller chest. The pants are alright on this body, the elastic waist is very helpful. One of the seams of one of the jacket sleeves has a small section that didn't get sewn up properly. I can easily take a needle to it myself, but I thought I'd mention it. Her shoes are not from the pack, they are Real Littles.

In front of both dolls you can see the shoes that came with the pack. They are green and pretty nice, but they are too small to fit either Wild Hearts Crew or Liv feet. They fit such dolls as Barbie (Classic/Petite foot size, not Curvy/Tall) or Fresh Dolls, with a heel.

Recently I thrifted this 2022 Day Out Draculaura Monster High doll. She's nearly complete, only missing her milk drink and sunblock.

Today I also found these at Five Below- I've actually recently been pretty curious about Punirunes, since they seem to be MUCH less demanding than Tamagotchis and have a fun gimmick. I won't have it with me throughout the day, at least during the week, but so far I think it's pretty cute! Getting one for $5 is absolutely a steal.

I finished the little clown cat "Cobbles" from this pattern! Crocheted using red, yellow, blue and white yarn, also using some polyfill stuffing, a pair of amigurumi/teddy bear eyes, and a salvaged keychain.

This weekend I had an AMAZING haul at the flea market! Some absolutely great dolls that I'm thrilled I could find, including a few I've wanted for a while.

First on the left is 2003 Wonder Woman Barbie (the pink box/playline one, I think there were actually a couple different WW Barbie releases that year). She has her original earrings and one of her magic bracelets, but that's it. I dressed her in this WW Barbie fashion pack shirt, unidentified shorts, and a pair of black Barbie boots.

Next is 1992/1993 Glitter Beach Jazzie! My third Jazzie doll, I don't know why I have such a soft spot for them...she has her original head scarf, necklace, and swimsuit bottoms! I also dressed her in this Sun Lovin' Jazzie top that I've had for a while and only recently identified.

Then there's 2000 Harley-Davidson Barbie #4, who only came with her neck scarf (not pictured) and her earrings. I dressed her in this unidentified dress and Barbie boots for now.

On the far right is 1999 Tie Dye Teresa! She only came with her original hair style/strings. I dressed her in this unidentified (but I think Barbie fashion pack) shirt, handmade denim overalls, and Real Littles high-top sneakers.

In this picture, on the left is 1996 Dolls of the World Japanese Barbie! She came with everything except her tabi and geta. I put her in these off-brand pumps, but hopefully one day I can get her proper footwear.

In the middle is 1992 Sparkle Eyes Barbie (blonde ver.). She came with this dress, which is Barbie (unidentified, but I am 90% sure it's from a fashion pack).

Last is 1998 Butterfly Art Kira, who came with her original crocheted swimsuit, necklace, bracelet, and anklet (I put her anklet on her other wrist).

Far left is 1992 Cheerleading Courtney, with her original hairbow, shirt and skirt! I put her in these random shoes (which I believe are Skipper shoes but I'm not 100% sure).

In the middle, it's 2023 Rainbow High Michelle St. Charles! She came with her dress, belt, boots, earbuds, and 3 hairclips.

And finally, the headless body represents 2014 Geek Shriek Howleen Wolf, whose head is currently in treatment for awful headglue. As pictured, she came with her original shirt, skirt, and shoes!

Last but DEFINITELY not least, I could have screamed when I found this 1992 Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie (blonde ver.) new in box for a price that I almost couldn't believe! I took her out of the box, but I thought I'd take a picture for posterity. This is the version I, myself, had as a small kid. Now if I can find the brunette Barbie from this line, I'll have all of them!

I knit these pajamas for my Krystal Bailey! The patterns are actually from different curvy Barbie patterns, and in the case of the top, knit in a slightly finer yarn than suggested for a better fit.
