I have A LOT of favorite Kakashi fics. Ironically, the majority happen to be KakaSaku, so you’re in luck there. However, I’ve read soooooo many, and I can’t possibly name you all my favorites. This is a list of current reads that I’ve come to adore, along with the few that have wrecked me for life. 

KakaSaku

Second Chances by cherryflowerblossoms –> This one is very cute. Kinda fluffy, too (which I normally avoid). It’s so good, though! It’s AUish/Pre-Gaiden. Sasuke and Sakura were married and had Sarada, but ultimately decided to divorce on good terms. It’s super sweet and very much worth the read!

Dawn by Just a Little Spark –> Sweet, merciful angst and comfort. I love this one-shot. 

The Difference by AnimateObsessive –> Kakashi and Sakura discuss the difference between having sex and making love. 

A Poor Imitation by leafygirl –> Sakura loses her memory while on a mission, forgetting about everything and everyone. What is it about Kakashi, though? *this one is so very, very good!*

Duty Before Honor by SilverShine –> This fic was the fic that sailed the KakaSaku ship for me. It’s very dear to my heart. Very well-written. Very sexy. Probably my favorite KakaSaku. 

Scarlet Scroll by Silver Shine –> Okay, listen…all of SilverShine’s works are amazing. You can always expect well-written work from them. This one is angsty, dark, and more than a bit sexy. 

Unbroken by princezsupastar –> TimeTravelAU! Probably the first KakaSaku ttAU I’ve ever read and definitely my favorite. 

Double Edged by nimblenymph –> “Seduction is a double-edged sword”. Indeed, it is. This is one of the first KakaSaku fics I can remember reading and it’s always in the back of my mind. <3 

A Series of Firsts by leafygirl –> Much sexy. Such hot. Do read it. 

I Found You Missing by Wolfy Tales –> AUish. While Sakura is still young, she signs up for a letter exchange program to encourage the shinobi fighting in the war. TOO PRECIOUS FOR MY EYES, this fic! 

Dirty Deeds by Serenanna–> Funny. Sweet. Angsty. Hot. This fic has it all! You’ll root for them the whole way.

House Calls by Spoiled Sweet –> Everything you could ever want in a well thought out, in character, story. I LOVE this fic. 

Stripped Bare by J-Pop Princess–> Hold the phone! One of the sexiest fics I’ve ever read, for damn sure. Smutty with a great plot. It’s wonderful. <3 

Love Child by RaeLee15–> (KakaSakuYam) I hate love triangles with a passion, but this one is the exception. Plus, it contains one of my favorite sex scenes of all time.

Okay…I’m going to have to go through all my favorites, especially on A03, cause I have about a million more fics I could recommend for KakaSaku. In all honesty, most of them are one-shots, and as I’m typing this, I’m remembering about 10 different ones I really want to share, but cannot remember the names of. DAMMIT.

Miscellaneous Pairings

For Brothers Share This Bond by bluedemon92–> My absolute favorite KakaIta fic EVER. I love it so much. KakaIta fics are few and far between, but this one is generally so very good. Well-written and angsty, but there’s splashes of silly and fluffy and drama and sexy thrown in. *sigh* I adore this fic.

Mates by AlyDarkAngelYanna –> (KakaNaruIta). That’s right, my dear. This is a fic about a relationship between Kakashi, Itachi, and fem!Naruto. Yes, it’s also a genderbender. It’s super interesting and is literally the only fic I’ve ever read with these three paired together. 

A Past Retold by Namikaze Kakashi –> TimeTravelAU. Very well done. Don’t want to spoil anything, just rust me and check it out.

He’s Just a Little Bit Late by Tsume Yuki —> Cute one-shot. I’ve read this one a few times. 

The Springtime of Romance by Riya3—> (KakaGai) Cute and funny one-shot.

Inconceivable by CrownsofLaurels–> (Kakafem!Naru) This is one of my favorite one-shots of all time. In fact, this writer is one of my favorites in general.

Making Arrangements by CrownsofLaurels –> (Kakafem!Naru) Okay, listen. This isn’t just my favorite Kakashi fic or even my favorite Naruto fic. This is my favorite fanfiction EVER. I adore it <3 Kakashi is spot-on and wonderful. Naruto is characterized perfectly. It’s just…it’s so lovely. Please, definitely read this one.

All Good Things by thevelvetbunny –> (KakaSasu) It’s naughty and kinda oc in my opinion, but not in a bad way. Also, Kakashi and Sasuke? How can that NOT be hot?! I really dig this one.

Beauty and the Beast by Stalker of Stories –> (KakaGai) Kakashi was born female, but nobody knows. That is…until one Might Gai finds out.

Fake Flowers by Ariana Deralte –> This 3 part fic takes place during Team Minato’s active days. Kakashi has to go undercover as a girl for a mission and the results are hilarious. Despite the silly theme, this fic is very well-written and very true to the characters. It’s not as goofy as you’d think. It’s actually one very dear to my heart. 

Servant of the Uchiha by tineyninja–> AU. Lots of Uchiha lovin’ in this one. I don’t like AU’s that are outside of their ninja world, but I LOVE this one.

Never the Spring by Ponderosa–> KakaAsuma one-shot.

Into the Sun by Nerdanel –> If you’ve ever wanted to read MinaKaka, well, this is the one to start with.
