Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by! <3 This page is dedicated to sharing short stories and skits, both lore-based and off-record, about my dragons on Flight Rising!

The dragon you see in the profile picture (and the muse behind this blog’s color palette) is Heartskip! He’s a love-seer and fortune-teller, as well as one of my clan’s librarians, so it felt only fitting to make him the mascot of this little story hall. ✨

Now, this blog is a little more relaxed, but we still want to uphold healthy boundaries when posting and interacting with others. Please take a moment to read before following to help reduce confusion 🥺

⋆ Dragon Theme: Skylanders (Spyro) ⋆ Morph Code: #5773007

This will be a lighthearted mini-series where I share the silly (and sometimes sweet) things the dragons who grew up in the clan did when they were still hatchlings!

・Dorsey, though still new to both the clan and life itself, once got an enemy dragon in serious trouble after he tried to attack Prisaic for being gay; something he’d learned from passing humans was deemed “unnatural.” Not only did he face Fractalis’s righteous wrath, but Dorsey made sure to out his own hypocrisy in front of everyone.

・Neairana used to love pretending to be dead just to spook the nesting ground caretakers, she found their horrified reactions hilarious.

Filomena is the type to start an argument with someone she likes, storm off, distract herself by charting stars, and then completely forget why she was upset in the first place.

Grapeskeeto has learned to quietly duck out of her path, giving her space to breathe and think. He’s gotten so good at reading her moods that he can tell what each of her expressions means before she even speaks.

Heartskip, often the most common target of her fiery moods, always does his best to communicate and resolve things… though by the time he catches up to her, he ends up having to re-explain the entire situation. . . which may or may not spark the same argument all over again.

Little do they know, Filomena keeps quiet track of all her favorite people by charting their constellations among the stars. <3

・Pluxienxa once returned from a journey far beyond what the caretakers of the nesting grounds considered safe… carrying an entire star she’d found along the way.

・Neairana, after learning her name’s origin (“Bananas”), decided to make it her destiny; she raided nearby clans and proudly returned with every kind of banana she could find, determined to compare which kind she looked most like.

📜 Entry Type: Short Story 🐉 Characters Featured: Prisaic & his beloved, Fractalis 🌈 Synopsis: Though Fractalis is ever the vigilant guardian, his focus on others often leaves him neglecting his own needs. Fortunately, Prisaic knows just how to remind him; with warmth, patience, and a freshly baked pie.

Fractalis leapt from one tall rock to another, his eyes sweeping the horizon as he watched over the clan and their surrounding grounds. His focus, so deep, He didn’t even notice Prisaic’s gaze of quiet admiration from below.

Standing ankle-deep in the shallows, Prisaic watched his friend’s golden cracks shimmer under the midday sun, the light shifting hues as Fractalis turned with steady vigilance.

Prisaic: “Are we safe, Goldie?”

Fractalis: “Hm?” … “Oh, yes, everything looks good.”

Prisaic: “Why don’t you take a break and refuel your mind? I made pomegranate pies.”

Fractalis: “I will, in a bit, my rainbow. I just want to double-check things, make sure everything’s stable for the morning.”

Prisaic: “It’s one hour past zenith, Goldie. Please come eat something.”

Prisaic’s tone softened but carried worry; he knew Fractalis hadn’t eaten all day. The dark-furred dragon had been standing under the full brunt of the sun, absorbing its warmth but burning through his own strength.

Fractalis finally glanced down, meeting Prisaic’s eyes. Fractalis: “Oh… yes, dear. I’m sorry.”

With a reluctant sigh, he hopped down from the rocks into the cool, low-tide water. He leaned forward and wrapped his neck around Prisaic’s in a draconic embrace.

Prisaic: “My, you’re as warm as freshly kiln-parted glass, Frac’.”

Fractalis: “Am I? I do feel rather parched.”

Prisaic: “Then come. I’ve prepared fresh water, and the pies should be cooler now, thanks to the sea winds.”

Grape is the kind of dragon who can’t pass a riverbank or cavern floor without searching for something that shines. Every polished stone he finds is tied to someone he holds dear, small treasures to keep their light close, even when apart.

📜 Entry Type : Short Story 🐉 Characters Featured : Prisaic, Lapiz & Grapeskeeto 🌈 Synopsis : The trio sets out on an adventure to gather resources and discover a new, scenic spot to host their next tea party.

Lapiz wakes up, stretching under the sun’s morning rays. She shakes her wings, scales catching the light, before padding over to the hidden eastern den to greet her friend Prisaic, only to find him sulking quietly in the corner.

Lapiz: “Pris, it’s daybreak! What’s happened so soon into the day?”

Prisaic: “The babies we were nurturing have graduated from the nesting grounds. They’ve already started helping the adults with clan chores…” His words come out rough and trembling between small sobs.

Lapiz: “Oh, my friend. They’re still the youngest in the clan! We’ll still see them grow and stumble through the world. Don’t fret, please.”

Prisaic: “I will try not to, Lapiz. I will try not to.”

Lapiz: “Ah-hah! I have an idea. I need to fetch some resources for the clan, the kiddos would love a few treats, I bet. Why don’t we go together?”

Prisaic: “That sounds delightful, Lapiz. You always have great ideas. I’ll be productive and show the kids that no matter how old they get, they’re still my babies at heart.”

Lapiz: “That’s the spirit, mate.” Her back twitches as she looks around, suddenly alert. “Who goes there? Show yourself!”

There’s a soft thump, then a rustle as Grapeskeeto drops down from a rock, only to immediately hide behind it.

Lapiz: “Oh my stars, it’s just you. Come here, Grape.”

Grape army-crawls his way over, sheepish but smiling.

Prisaic: “Hey, ’Skeeto! Good morning. How long have you been there?”

Grape tilts his head, then signs: “Since dawn.”

Prisaic: “Ah… so you saw all of that.”

Grape (signing): “Just about. Wanted to help but didn’t know how. Then Blue say ‘adventure’, I got excited. and stayed to see if i could follow”

Lapiz: “I’ve got no problem with you coming along. You’re one of the strongest dragons here, your help means more food, and we can bring back heavier materials.”

Prisaic: “And we could stop for lunch up on the mountain!”

Lapiz: “Oh, yeah… about that…”

Prisaic: “Lapiz. Please don’t tell me...”

Lapiz: “Erm… so, Heartskip and Filomena got into a scuffle, apparently, and he’s asked that no one touch the mountain garden until he’s fixed it.”

Prisaic: “Ah, good. I was worried enemy dragons had swooped in and wrecked it. That’s a reasonable request. We can find somewhere else to eat and chat.”

Grape (signing): “Orchard?”

Prisaic: “The apple orchard in the west?”

Grape nods eagerly.

Lapiz: “Yeah, why not? We can pick some apples while we’re there. Maybe you can make some sun-dried apple slices for the kiddos, Pris?”

Prisaic: laughs softly “That sounds perfect.”
