I’m always soft for you, that’s the problem. You could come knocking on my door five years from now and I would open my arms wider and say ‘come here, it’s been too long, it felt like home with you.

Promise me you’ll always love yourself more than how you love to read. Love yourself more than that torn up book of yours. More than the way you like your coffee with cream in the morning. More than getting up early just to watch the sunrise, with that cup of coffee. Love yourself more than you love staying up late to watch the stars shine. More than how you say you love me. And even more than when you hear me say I love you. Promise me, you’ll love yourself even after I decided not to say that anymore. Even after my love for you changed; after those words held a different meaning. Promise me you’ll be more whole without me. You’ll love more wholly without me.

Don’t worry when I argue with you. Worry when I stop cause that just means there’s nothing left worth fighting for.
