"Is this the part where we start our lives?"

  Hinata could literally feel her blood pressure rise due to how scared and nervous she truly was at the moment. Sitting, it really only made her more nervous to let her husband know about the news. She was basically freaking out inside and out. Hinata knew her husband would be understanding, but she had no idea how he would react right now. It scared her more than life. Why? Hinata honestly had no clue; she was never scared of him and what he might do. Those reality tv shows were really getting to her, and she knew she needed to stop now. 

  “I-It was… l-like any other day,” the young ninja said as she fiddled with her fingers, trying to avoid eye contact. “Why would s-something h-happen?”

» Sasuke narrowed his onyx eyes and carefully observed his wife, he knew that she was hiding something, was she afraid of him or of his reaction regarding this thing she wasn’t telling him? The Uchiha placed his hand against his mouth and furrowed his eyebrows, therefore wrinkles appeared on his forehead. Yes, that must be the reason.

Practice

» Sasuke raised an eyebrow when he heard a barely audible trace of nervousness in her tone, clearly, it was Hinata, it had been a long time since he had felt that kind of aura surrounding her, carefully, the raven straightened up. “What’s the matter?” The Uchiha asked in a serious tone and pressed his lips together tightly as he took a few steps toward the bathroom.

Something was wrong, his stomach clenched and his skin began to tingle, slowly, the dark haired male leaned against the door and pressed his ear against the wood and began to listen. Was she in danger? 

No, he could only feel her and his own chakra, she was alone and safe, the former traitor closed his eyes and took a deep breath. With half-open eyes he looked at the wall in front of him before he gently pushed away from the door. 

"I’m waiting for you, Hinata." The Uchiha announced impatiently.

         Her gaze flicker between both the test that sat on top of the toilet and the door. She had been waiting for the results for what it seemed to be like forever, and Hinata did not want to leave Sasuke waiting to greet her after he got back from his mission that lasted very long. So to speed up the process, Hinata grabbed the test and tried to speed it up by waving it in the air (at times blowing on it as well when her arm got tired).

          She finally could see the lines that would determine if she was pregnant or not. Her arm fell to her as she read to the side; +… Positive. Hinata was left speechless. Thoughts were raided with ones that tried to figure out how to tell her husband about the unborn baby that was growing inside of her. But Hinata suddenly regained herself, and she decided to wrap the test in toilet paper and throw it out. 

           The dark-haired needed time to figure out what to say, but the reason why she was trying to put it off was because she was scared of how Sasuke would react. He never really mentioned that he wanted to start a family to her. 

                                   ❝ W-welcome back, U-uchiha-san!… ❞

            Hinata said, trying to cover up her nervousness. She just needed time to figure everything out. 

» Sasuke slowly raised his head and looked at his wife with his onyx eyes, she still looked like seventeen, even after all these years they have been married - the Uchiha felt like seventy, the war, the missions, his past he had accepted them, yet the grief still gnawed on his bones. “Hinata.” the shinobi warned his wife with a quiet but stern voice, the mission had been long and arduous, too many people had addressed him with this title and even more had insulted his last name by calling it a traitorously clan’s name, therefore he did not like the fact that even his wife adressed him as ‘Uchiha-san’ rather than just ‘Sasuke.’
