Kaminari felt warmth rising in his cheeks at the compliment. Usually, he was the one doing the complimenting, and he was almost always getting shot down. He was the flirty type after all. “It is pretty special, my hair is really cool….” He joked, but he lost his usual confidence in it. He was caught off guard by her immediate admittance that he was cute.  “I like the color.” Carefully, he picked up a few strands, twirling them between his fingers. “Which course are you in? I don’t think I know you.” He tried to be better about getting to know kids at UA that weren’t just in the hero course, but he wasn’t as good about it as he wanted to be. Thankfully, he was outgoing enough to make easy friends. 

                  Annie feels a bit timid as he twirls their hair between his fingers, though the feeling isn’t terribly unwelcome. They open their mouth to say ‘ thank you ’ but the topic is just as quickly changed.  

Kaminari bristled at the compliment. It wasn’t often he got compliments on his appearance, and he often put a lot of thought into it. He loved stylish things, although his style was more often gaudy than trendy. He liked it, though. Who else could pull off his look? He grinned, leaning forward. “It’s all natural! I was born with it. Go ahead, touch it! It’s softer than it looks. My hair’s just spiky ‘cause of my quirk.”

                   Wow! How unique! Annie vaguely wishes they were born with cool, spiky hair, but they have a feeling it’d be much harder to braid if that were the case. For now, they’d stick to their light, bouncy locks. 

                 “ An offer to touch the hair of such a cute person? I’m so honored! ” They giggle, though it only takes a moment for them to realize that the statement was far bolder than they intended it to be. It was certainly contradictory to all the classes their mother made them take on etiquette and manners. Now that they think about it, running their hands through a stranger’s hair wasn’t very polite either. Oh well! No going back now.

          ✭ — ❝ Ah? ❞ A being whose SMILE was as gentle as the rolling waves and whose AURA was as kind as a hug. Everything they exuded OPPOSED his, where Bakugou’s mere presence shook even the strongest of men. Narrowing his glance down at the person before him, something about their DEMEANOR resembled a FAMILIAR green-haired fuck he was NEVER fond of. Just ahead of them had been the cafeteria, so close, and yet…           ❝ Who the FUCK are you? ❞ 

                   Feeling a tad more confident now that his attention was captured, Annie straightened up a little, joy tickling at the edges of their heart. They were hardly aware that they were keeping him from the cafeteria, too enthused to be around such a famous figure at school. Oh, many analyses were done on his potential for recruitment and success! Not that they’d bring any of that up in conversation.
