"I was always pretty good at Hail Mary plays." Flash said, joking even in the face of destruction. He sighed, taking the down time to check his handgun. He was down to half a clip of ammo. Dire. It was times like this he wished he still had Venom with him.

"Well, there is a lot to love." he joked, nudging Naomi in return. The truth was he is in love with Naomi. Traveling together, getting to know her, trying to help her find a way to lift the curse that plagued her bloodline...he'd fallen hard and fast for the rough and gruff tomboy.

Not much scared Colt, but admitting his feelings to her terrified him. Maybe she didn't feel the same way. Maybe she did, but voicing it would complicate things. He didn't want to see her leave, he didn't want to be left alone again.
