“All the bullies in school who are girls, become nurses; and all the bullies in schools who are boys, become cops…”

And at the time I didn’t really get it;

Examples:

A cishet man who has a bisexual girlfriend, but does not support marriage between two men, does NOT belong at PRIDE…

A cishet woman who has a gay best friend, but fetishes gay men, and thinks lesbians are gross does NOT belong at PRIDE…

A cishet person who supports their gay sibling, but does not support transgender people, does NOT belong at PRIDE…

If your cishet partner, friend, etc. does NOT accept every subgroup in the LGBT+ community, do NOT invite them. They’re not true allies if they only support one subgroup in the LGBT+ community, and we don’t want them there…

They must be supportive of the entire community, not just you, and the subgroup you belong to…

I’m not dead…

No aspect about me is dead…

I’m alive and well.

I wouldn’t call a former hobby I once had, my “dead hobby”…

I wouldn’t call an old hairstyle I had, my “dead hairstyle”…

I wouldn’t call a place I used to live, my “dead home”…

Even if it was stuff about my past I hated, and wanted to forget…

I prefer terms like “birth name”, “former name”, “given name”, “past name”, etc…

Even something silly like “retired name” is fine.

Literally ANYTHING more appropriate…

As someone who is strongly against marijuana, AND grew up with an alcoholic parent -

Yes, I 100% support banning alcohol too…

But..?

I’ve known I was trans since I was a toddler in the 90s?? (I had ZERO exposure to anything LGBT+ related as a kid. I didn’t even have any (openly) gay family members). So there was no one to “influence” me…

I’ve l ways preferred boyish things (especially clothes)? The only reason I didn’t “seem” more “masculine” as a kid was because I was always yelled at or made fun of whenever I tried. So to make everyone else happy, I acted like a “normal” girl…

I only ever had crushes on girls (as a kid), and only ever was romantically/sexuality attracted to women?? I never had a crush on a boy as a kid/teen; and I never was into men now as an adult. I only ever see myself marrying a woman…

I’ve identified as transmasculine for years, and my feelings about my gender identity haven’t changed…

I’m 30 now…

When is the day supposed to come when I realize I’m actually a (cis) woman, start turning extremely feminine, start getting attracted to men, and want to “settle down” and get married to a man and have kids??

I’m extremely curious to know…
