icl I've been really unmotivated and have things going on which I needed to attend to and I'm hoping to be back to writing the album fics soon because I really do want to get back to them eventually.

For weeks now youโve been saying to Kurt that if he wants to keep this relationship that youโve got going on then heโs gonna have to try. But Kurt always manages to be somewhere else or have other things to do. One minute you feel like youโre having fun with him, then the next minute he MUST film this video because his โfansโ are begging for it.

Since Kurt blew up in April, heโs never actuallyโฆ there anymore. And youโre happy for him, sure you are, but itโs just not how it used to be. And yeah, Kurt hasโฆissues. But you love that version of him. Not the one where he constantly needs attention and validation from his fans, and god the fame.
Fame has changed him to be unrecognisable. And because youโre stuck behind the scenes, you actually know whatโs going on. Itโs all fake. You donโt tell him that itโs actually awful and that heโs not going to get any further and the one hit wonder fanatic is done and dusted, because how would you? You know YouTubers similar to Kurt put on performances, but seeing it in your own eyes kills you. And a lot more than just youโฆ
Kurtโs one rule for himself is to do well and become ultra famous. He needs to get so popular, that people who wronged him will look at his success and realise what a huge hit he has become and they should've never messed with him. Heโs obsessed with going viral in every video. Itโs who he is. Nobody believes in him but you.
At least thatโs what heโs making himself believe.
This entire relationship is now just you just โslottingโ into Kurt's life whenever it suits him. And itโs rare. He remembers your anniversary (once youโve told him) and apart from that, it never does happen. Which makes you stop and think.

God heโd hate to know you called him that. Itโs telling him that heโs fake. He tries too much for fans. He cares about fame and attention. Every YouTuber likes that sort of thing. But heโs becoming a version of himself which isnโt even real. This Kurt is not Kurt. (You get me right).
He does talk to you about stuff. How heโs scared about not doing well and paranoia he faces when he does bad on a video or a spree drive. And thatโs when you know he no longer truly cares about you. Itโs always about others and not what you want. Not to do with him wanting this relationship.

He searches the bathroom and notices your toothbrush and care products have vanished.
