We didn’t choose the coffee life. The coffee life chose us.

Fun fact: Before we became specialty coffee roasters, we were just two caffeine-deprived souls in Almaty, drinking that instant coffee with Soviet-era condensed milk (you know the one). Then we tried real Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

The rest is history.

Now we: ✔️ Smuggle rare beans through Central Asian borders (legal-ish) ✔️ Brew coffee in a 1970s Soviet percolator (it’s elite) ✔️ Put horse milk in flat whites (don’t knock it till you try it)
