Before he can say too much, you start pulling things out of your bag, beaming at him as you do so. In quick succession, you present things to him, describing each for him so he doesn’t complain and whine about whatever it is. First, you take out a pair of deep-blue contacts, and present them to him. “These are a pair of contacts! We’re going to be posing as landed citizens, so it’s important that you look the part with some cobalt-blue peepers.”
Then you pull out a white tunic with blue trim, and a richly-decorated leather coat, thrusting it into his hands unceremoniously. “Same goes with your clothing! I bought a few pairs so you don’t have to wear the same thing every day, but we also get to pick the time of year, so we can make sure the weather’s pleasant.”
Before he can say any more, you continue. “Here’s a bag to put your things in! You’re not going to be able to use your bags, but if you have to bring any of your modern conveniences, put them in there and keep them safe! I already put a toothbrush in there because I know you would forget otherwise,” you say with a wink.
You show off your own clothing as you explain how it’s going to work, swishing your palla around playfully. “In order to be able to stay wherever we like, I figured it would be safest if we pose as a couple of highbloods. So I’m going to be Ariana Marona, indigo, and you are Saulus Castor, blueblood! That’s what these costumes are for.”
You look at the shit she gave you.
Then back at her.
It seems simple enough: disguise yourselves as highbloods and live the high life while in Ancient Rome. It would require a little more work on your part but it sounds doable. There are a few parts of it you're not too thrilled about, like the contacts. You have special eyes. She can't possibly have your brand. The fact that you can't really discern the b100 color from anything else around it is a giant fucking problem, too, but hopefully it won't come up.
Then, there is the glaring issue, the one with which you have numerous issues that need to be aired immediately.
"I'm not wearing the dress."
