a/n: early morning when the sky is grey and the rain is hitting the windows
katsuki always looked so perfect, so soft in the mornings. his eyes still a little glassy with sleep as he groans softly before he throwing an arm over his head. you curl into his side, pressing a hand to his chest, tracing his muscles with your fingertips.
“you’re so pretty.” you whisper placing a kiss on his pec.
“shut it.” he wraps his arm around you and smushes your head to his chest.
“‘m serious.” you scoot closer.
he lets you up and you keep peppering your kisses along his chest, starting to outline the scar in the center. he doesn’t notice at first but when he does his eyebrows scrunch. you kiss each centimeter of the scar and place one last kiss over his heart, which is currently beating rapidly under your soft touch.
you kiss over to his arm, more soft pecks along the scars that litter it and all the way down to his hand. his chest is heaving as you shower him with love, making sure your lips press each of his fingertips and then the center of his palm. you make your way back up his arm, stopping and indulging yourself in leaving a small mark on his neck as he softly groans.
“shh baby.” you whisper against his skin, kissing up his neck to his jaw.
he thinks you’re finally going to kiss him but your lips brush the scar on his cheek. his eyes flutter shut and he holds you close, lip wobbling and eyes brows still scrunched. you kiss all over his face, including the furrow of his brow until it eases and then make your way to each of his eyelids, his nose and finally his lips.
“you are so handsome.” your lips brushing his with every word. “so brave.” you press your hand to the scar on his chest. “so strong.”
his eyes open and you find them glassy with tears, his cheeks stained pink as he looks up at you. “why are you..” his voice cracks. “i’m not.. i just..”
“katsuki bakugo you’re the strongest and bravest and most handsome man i’ve ever met.”
his lips part and he flips the both of you over and buries his head in your neck. you feel his hot tears on you skin as he scoots in closer. “i love you.”
“i love you too you big baby.” you wrap an arm around his back and bring your other to his hair. “my pretty boy.” you softly tug.
“shut up.” he lifts up with a small smile.
“make me?” you tilt your head a little and he presses his lips to yours the next second.
