I've added a few new great finds to my shop recommendations over on Cats & Coffee, including the dress I'm wearing here. It's an older Free People option, but still available for a reasonable price on Amazon. It comes in a couple colors, but I'm partial to the green, as you might guess! 💚 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For reference, this dress is fairly true to size and is a looser fit with an open back that ties at the neck. When I first wrote about the cottagecore trend on my blog last summer, I admit I viewed it with a pretty questioning, almost critical, eye. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, in the meantime, I've followed more and more great creators embracing the aesthetic. Further, my style and interests have developed over the past year in a way that has really aligned with the slow-living-side of the motif. Considering there was about 30 days between when we began to consider the move and...well, the actual move, not a whole lot fell through the cracks. Fun fact: I bought this little succulent from a nursery in South Florida about two years ago. Since then, it's grown into a giant -- at least by succulent standards in my experience! -- and has had to be re-potted a couple times. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's even broken twice because of the weight of the petals. I successfully got it to re-grow after the first break, so fingers crossed it pulls through from it's second the other day ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you had any luck propagating or rehabbing such succulents? I haven't decided which coffee table books to keep out in our new place just yet.
