KNOWING SHE’D ALWAYS BEEN CLUMSY , the redhead herself had to admit carrying a pile of different fabrics on her own was a terrible idea . there was a difference between being independent & making a fool of oneself , which came naturally when stumbling down the streets barely able to see what’s in front of you . but when she heard a familiar voice & felt the heavy weight being lifted from her arms , sally let out a breath of relief , followed by a chuckle . ❝ thank you , i thought my arms were gonna fall off ! ❞ she exclaimed , embarrassment in her words . ❝ are you sure you don’t mind carrying those ? you really don’t have to … oh , my friend is getting married ! lady asked me to make her wedding dress & , well , i wanted fabric options , so i asked miss carr if i could borrow a few from the boutique’s stock & she said yes . i guess working at a boutique really has it’s perks … ❞
“don’t worry about me, sal,” truth was, the fabric was heavy --- he had no idea how sally had made it this far already, but he wasn’t complaining... yet. at her reminder, he nods slowly, “oh yeah... the wedding.” it’s not that he wasn’t aware of it, it’s that --- he’d put off thinking about it, okay? it was a sticky stituation, what with o’malley being friends with sulley, worrying for lady, and most importantly, caring for tramp. it wasn’t something he was keen on. he hopes it doesn’t reflect in his voice as he asks, “so how’s that goin’? whole wedding thing.”
