imagine tenna going to a crt collecter's home, him meeting countless fellow tv hosts who all have learnt that they're past their prime but still shine on none the less, knowing that no matter what they'll always be someone who wants you (i'd imagine it would be like tenna being adopted by a family of tvs)

dumb idea: sam still life being a captain clark situation, but instead of being dangerous he's just as kind and helpful as normal sam, just in his own way, still huge as hell, but still helpful and kind (reason, the cockroaches are tiny, and there are many cock roaches) (also insert dinner scene with normal sam and still life sam hugging)

adding onto my last post abt sam going into the backrooms, i can imagine him trying to at least show humanity to the still lifes, even if it means nothing in the long run, like offering food or help to the still lifes and just not getting anything in return for a response, he knows they're not people, he's seen what they look like on the inside, but there's still a part of his brain still wanting to show empathy to these beings, again even if he knows they're not real people

if sam were to end up in the backrooms he would just go "oh okay" before going on his day on dealing with it, i'd also imagine he wouldn't be really freaked out by his still life version either, depending on how the backrooms remembers him that is

thinking up a gijinka of the house on ash tree lane and they look like a basic business man with a medium build but have very deep blue eyes, like hard to look away kind of deep eyes, while also being very blue, their name is Gary (it feels like a very blue name)

alright, so on my second reread, i have finally decided to read johnny truant's parts of the story, and as such, i would like to humbly apologize for my past actions regarded towards him, he may spout some serious bullshit like no other, and fucking loves to run his mouth, but his parts are quite interesting, and as one person put it "he may spout a lot of nonsense, but there's a hidden truth in that nonsense"

rereading house of leaves got me fucked up despite nothing happening yet, feels like i'm walking through an abandoned childhood home dawg

idea: in the wrath layer there are sinners who were close to being the ferryman, but were still sinful enough to be casted into the waters, and after years of swimming they now look like seals, since they are just good enough to be spared the torture of drowning they can now swim for long periods, stay warm in cold water and rest on any land, and can hold their breaths, after a little longer they look like seals straight up, while before they look like a hybrid of a human and half seal

love how everyone nearly agrees that johnny truant is a fucking horndog crack head that we either choose to ignore like seeing a psycho on the bus stop or reading his parts like getting interested in the psycho's words, barely anyone like it oml

silly idea: hell found out abt dante's inferno and after giving it a read (don't ask how it would work) hell went "damn this lowk fire" and redesigned it's entire body and self to match it while giving every layer it's own spin, gaslighting every sinner into thinking hell was always like this
