Squid, short for Squidney

SO ive wanted to go to moosecamp for three years now. and it was like, just as i dreamed it. ive come out the other side a changed clown. ive made so many friends, met so many professional clowns and brand new clowns

heres me with two new very dear friends of mine, and one mortal enemy. but i made too many friends to count. like, it was like being in another world. everyone is friends and everyone just loves each other and is ready to jump at any opportunity to get into a stupid bit or gag at any moment. and there were so many older clowns, younger clowns, and queer clowns. from clowns working mainly in theatre and drag venues to caring clowns working in hospitals and nursing homes, to birthday clowns, to retired and touring circus clowns, to brand new baby clowns. its amazing.

- from various events. the clown rave (me and my sibling made like 40 bracelets for me to trade, and im coming home with so many different very sweet clowns' handmade kandi. its wonderful), and then the pie fight, and gag rehearsal (ours was a clown car gag. we actually got to write a lot of it ourselves)

^ this photo with ron severini!! oh my god meeting him i was so star struck you dont even understand. hes so sweet and humble, i cant egen tell if he understands hes the reason so many of us were there. he had the most beautiful talk on clowning, and he spoke about otto greibling and knowing him and i just sobbed. and he let us hold one of ottos pie tins — my god everyone was crying

anyway uhmmm heres a video, if you wanna see, of me and my best friend ever practicing our juggling act for the preshow. we actually got to do this !! and miss moose moved us into the middle of the stage, she goes "you're good!! you're good!! go to the center!!"
