A succession of four drawings in primary colors, representing doors from The Magnus Archives.
The first drawing is in black an white, the shadow of an imposing old-looking building, punctured by white doors.
The second one is Michael’s doors in bright yellow hues. There are stairs leading to nowhere, and Michael’s head is peaking through the opening. His hand goes through the door to rest on the external handle: The door, overall, makes no sense as a door.
The third one is the archives’ trap door in nuances of red. We see it from above as it is being opened by Tim or Jon’s hand. Worms are surrounding the door, and Jane Prentiss’s feet stand waiting.
The fourth and last one is a blue door being forced open by violent waves coming through. There are eyes in the waves.
Throughout the drawings, the text reads: “An Oxford education is one that can open many, many, many, many doors.”
