this clip makes me so emotional. i feel like this sometimes, at night especially. That the whole wide world may swallow me whole. That i’m wide-eyed in the face of god. that I’m not a victim of smallness but rather its loving disciple.

I think that some of these realistically wouldn't work in-universe (considering how certain character's genders affect their perspectives and the "roles" they are assigned by society), but I still wanted to have fun creating these. I envisioned Battler being a little tomboyish, and Maria to wear one of those "sailor" uniforms for kids, though I kind of failed at portraying it, oops 😅, I also gave George a bun similar to Eva's (keyword "similar") and still wanted to give Jessica long hair, so yeah 😁😁
