Pins are finally here! And can be purchased here!

In addition to a run of the chosen design (Helic Republic), I decided to give a Liger Zero design a try, and reprint the Guylos Empire ones due to popular demand.

Shipping is flat rate but hopefully a larger selection makes international shipping a little more palatable.  Note flat rate only covers up to 4 oz. (pins weight about .3 oz (notice the decimal)) so large orders (~10+) may be invoiced for additional shipping costs.

So the Guylos Empire pins we voted on finally came in and are up for sale!

You can get them at this bigcartel store for $3.58 before shipping.

A little about them: They are enamel pins pressed in gold metal with the other colors filled in with enamel paint, and a clear resin coat on top to protect the design.

NOTE: Pins will ship Saturday, September 15th due to my work schedule.  So please be patient!

Please limit yourself to 2 pins.  If there is still stock on Monday then you may order additional.

Costs:  As I said before, I really just want some cool Zoids merch so pins are at cost.  Here is a breakdown of where your money is going.  The big cartel subscription is so I can list more than 1 pin per listing (how annoying would that be!) and allows me to track inventory so I don’t oversell.

Posted to r/Zoids and Pheno’s told to ask here as well, our fandom is so tiny!  Custom enamel pins are all the rage at the moment, are we down for some Zoids ones?  Insignia, Zoids heads, maybe some cute chibi ones?

Basically, you’ll pay what I pay (I just want some sweet Zoids pins), so price of pin+shipping supplies+postage+fees.  Yes, I can and will ship international.  Guesstimating about $7-8 total for US residents.

First run would be Guylos Empire Insignia, limited to 50 pins (I can order more if I sell out).  If it’s successful I’ll run a poll and see what to print next.

Was possibly thinking of throwing small kits together consisting of all the materials needed so others can try it out without plopping $50 down on materials. 

Killed the LED in the LZ Panzer’s head while trying to solder the LED in the core into place...which means I had to dismantle the entire kit, cut all the wiring, and redo it. :|  The wiring is now more efficient (I only made one mistake this time) and the head and core light up.

Slowly, slowly finishing this project.  Head, legs, and body done, now just finishing up the armor. 

I’m spinning my wheels on the armor a little since a lot of imperfections don’t show up until you prime so I’m stuck in an endless cycle of prime -> sand -> putty -> sand -> prime and repeat. :/

Last two pictures show the wiring in the neck.  Manage to hide it by cutting out the plastic ‘cables’ molded as the kit and replacing them with the actual wires.

Exam is done and now back to work on Panzer.  Updates should be more regular now since I’m not studying like crazy. I’d say about 75% of this kit is finished so have some legs and body.

It’s so tempting to snap together for a picture but I need to keep the parts separated until I can feed the hybrid cannon wires through. Dx

Now for something completely different.  Caught this bad boy outside my local supermarket.  Sooo happy that now I don’t have to raise a cyndaquil.

I find it somewhat amusing he doesn’t know a fire move but knows Solar Beam? You aren’t Meganium as hard as you may try. >.>

I can ALMOST put together the back legs... >.>;; I was so excited yesterday when I thought I had flat coated ALL the back leg pieces... turns out I didn’t. Just have to paint them tomorrow. :/

Been a while since I posted but Pokemon Sun happened and then the weather got too cold and rainy for painting.  But the ‘winter’ weather finally broke which means back to painting!

While it doesn’t look like much, I’m wrapping up the Prototype Panzer build.  Unfortunately I can’t assemble much until the guns are done because I will need to solder the wires into place and feed them through the body.

Updates are slow as I’m working around the clock to get this guy finished for a competition next month.  I have a little less than 3 weeks and a whole lot of work to still do. >.>;;
