the announcement of the tournament created a ripple of conversation throughout the great hall, one that only seemed to grow in the days that followed. despite being ineligible, not that kamile would have any interest in the eternal glory and all that, she found herself incredibly nosy, watching each day to see who might put their name in the goblet. rocking back and forth on her heels as another durmstrang study strode forward cockily, she found herself leaning over to the nearest hogwarts student, nose crinkled slightly. ❝ are you going to put your name in ? i don’t know that i could, not knowing what the tasks are. ❞ with a huff of a laugh, kamile shook her head. ❝ i have a hard enough time waking up for potions. ❞
he'd been dragged by the scruff to the great hall by none other than filch. if he had any say in this, lorcan would've gladly opted out. but there was speculation of an announcement to be made. again, not that he particularly cared. but attendance was required. he could feel his blood freeze at the mention of the triwizard tournament. the last time all three schools gathered for 'unification purposes' his cousin was pronounced dead. he'd barely been able to spoon some peas into his mouth when an overly perky body hung off of him. drawing up a scowl, lorcan regarded her with the utmost disdain he could bother. ❛ you talking to me ? ❜ many people chose not to. after all, he was nothing like cedric. a constant reminder that many others shoved at him. his brows scrunched with irritation, wondering why her lips were still moving. his eyes cast towards some excessively arrogant gryffindors tossing their names in the goblet. ❛ nothing good comes of that cup. ❜
