You know the type. The "forgetfully super ticklish" person. They go get a pedicure and then find themselves saying things like, "I forgot how ticklish I am!" They think nothing of going to get a professional massage, only to realize they should have thought about what it would feel like to have someone gliding their hands up and down their oiled-up inner thighs. They might even say they'd assumed they'd outgrown their ticklishness.

Then there's the hyper-aware ticklish person. This type of person can barely forget for a moment how ticklish they are. They've had to train themselves to be so prepared or the threat to be tickled that they can sense it everywhere. An innocent hand resting on their side while posing for a picture or receiving a side hug sends their entire body into overdrive — anticipating that the slightest movement will cause them to lose control, reveal their extreme ticklishness, and place them in a terrifying predicament. They come up with excuses when invited for pedicures. They keep their feet tucked in close around others, because they've learned the hard way what happens when they don't.
