the thing with the guanyin temple scene is that jgy delivers this absolutely devastating speech that picks at all of the parts of himself that jc tried so desperately to hide and pretend didn’t exist, and jc is just standing there, all of his past mistakes thrown into his face as he’s made the butt of the joke that is the ruin of his family in front of an audience of all of the people he doesn’t want to see him at his weakest,, and like,, it’s this perfect move from jgy’s part, at least in terms of emotionally destroying jc and giving jgy some room to breathe. but also jc would have reacted just as strongly if jgy had just called him a bitch and jgy is well aware of this and just wanted the chance to deliver a banger of a speech. either way jc is out of the fight

my favorite scene in cql is jiang cheng having the most badass entrance and you think this is it he is going to save the day but then he gets his feelings hurt and immediately buckles honestly relatable [via blasfumi]
