These were my really mean motivational posters before I ended up at a more kind motivational poster for Ryan. If you haven't seen it, here it is. I am still sad I didn't make it meaner, but my heart told me to be kind that day.

Obviously did this back around Christmas, although if I could have the joy of Christmas people have/give all year round I would be a very happy person. I really love the holiday season, even when I has no money, I am in good spirits.

Some ideas for APE 2013. The paper toys at the top are a project I would like to do, but need to prototype everything! I played around with the idea of making a toast paper doll, but I ended up just making a little painting of the Texas Toast instead. Still thinking of making a paper doll, but drawing a lot more ideas :] The last oval drawings I ended up making paintings of the first two and not doing the last one. Maybe I will paint a whole fox family instead.

A bunch of ink drawings from being in Spain last year. I was very inspired by Picasso and Salvador Dali's work. There are some amazing museums in Spain that are MUST SEE, like The Prado in Madrid. If that doesn't make you just want to go home and paint ... I don't know what does.
I feel like this is an appropriate post for my first one of the New Year seeing as I am greeted this way by Decaf most days. Happy New Year, folks.

Posted this to my main art page, but not my sketchbook~?! What's up with that. :9 Yeah, Decaf likes to meow really loud, show me his butt and wiggle his tail at the same time. That's his way of saying "I love you" ... probably more like "LOOK AT MY BUTT" *shrug* Okay, Decaf, I will.

I am making a couple of weird doll things haha I am debating between paper or a toy of it. And there are a few plans for it, one being making its outfits actual other forms of currency haha another being I could make a whole line of clothes for them. I dunno what I want to do quite yet, but I think the first logical step is to sculpt him. My friend, Sam, is an awesome sculptor (click the link!) and he is teaching me how to cast and mold toys. :D So once I get something fully sculpted then I can start making resin toys. I am really excited, this has always been a dream for me.
Any way, Ryan wouldn’t stop making fun of this little guy and kept saying that he looked like Trogdor.
….
All of Ryan’s ridicule brought up trying to recall what Trogdor the Burninator actually looked like (burninating the countryside, burninating the peasa- AHEM sorry) and so this led me to draw Trogdor from memory. :/ Kind of close? I was impressed that I remembered a resemblance of him, although I had Ryan shouting at me “Consummate V’s! I said CONSUMMATE!”
Strongbad doesn’t care about resemblances though :< I would get an S.
