But Flowey either regenerates them like how an octopus regrows its limbs, or pulls out more vines to add to the attack. With the multiplying vines to focus on Alphys gets slammed by one, knocking her onto the floor hard, breaking her glasses and causing a burning pain that wouldn't allow Alphys to stand up without her legs trembling and collapsing under her once again. Fowey picks her up by the collar of her lab coat and smirks at her, being so weak and fragile after one attack*

Flowey: Hiding? Aww, don't be scared! You're not one of my main targets after all~ I just wanna get a clear taste of where you are so I can greet you, if you don't mind.

She presses something on the remote she held and a laser barrier was suddenly opened from one side of the wall to the other. The laser divided the area perfectly from where flowey was to where alphys was, and it intersected with Floweys vines, hitting him, which caused him to yelp and let go of Alphys. She falls to the ground and immediately scrambles up, pressing more buttons to project emergency safety defences that were planted all about the lab. Flowey, now aware of them, does a good job at predicting but considering he's never seen her take these measures before he does hold some failures in dodging or anticipating where the next counterattack will pop up.*

Flowey wastes no time, making Justice shoot her with his gun along with Integrity attacking close up as Flowey holds Undyne down, digging the thorns deep into her flesh. She groans before stabbing Flowey's vine that held her down, making flowey yelp and pull it away, freeing undyne.*
