I'm Jewish and beginning to get involved in witchcraft, and the deeper I go the more I notice other witches referencing their personal deities and sometimes Greek Gods and such. I was wondering how you reconcile Judaism with the involvement of multiple deities in craft? Or do you perhaps just not participate in that aspect? I'm just trying to get a vibe for how other Jewish witches deal with this. Thank you!!! Also!! Would you ever consider joining a group chat of Jewish witches on here?
I personally find that my approach is very loose. I'm a Reform Jewish Witch, so my community is fairly accepting and open. Essentially I have entered sort of working contracts with other deities like Greek gods (specifically Hermes, Artemis, Athena, and Hestia) but I continue to only worship Him. I believe that so long as I do not begin to worship or devote myself to other deities then there won't be an issue. I see no problem with acknowledging other deities so long as I do not partake in worship. I hope this helps and that it's not been too long. I'm not often on here, but I would be very open to joining a chat!
