"Oi. Oi! Sasuke! .... Sasuke! You ignoring me, or something!?" Legs bent over a branch above the other, Naruto finds himself swinging upside down not unlike a monkey-- some may think it to be an apt description considering his usual demeanor and antics. With extended arm, he swats at the top of his head with the intent of disrupting whatever hair he can reach. The scowl on his face narrows his eyes almost to the point of closing, lower lip jutting in discontent. "OI, look at me! Don't make me come down there, I'll do it! I'm serious!" Another swing of his hand, this time harder, his body following suit as he sways. "I SAID look at me!"
Sasuke's usually not out this way. The whole point is sort of to avoid potential interactions with Konoha ninja, since he sort of defected. They want to take him in, take him back -- some rather dead than alive, he imagines.
Naruto's different of course, and there's a part of Sasuke that doesn't mind what could be seen as Naruto randomly running into him (though in all likelihood someone probably helped Naruto track Sasuke down). The other part of him, though...
Sasuke doesn't want to get either of their hopes up. He's not going back. Naruto can't convince him. Naruto may be able to talk his way in or out of most situations, but not this one.
Sasuke's very tempted to just keep walking, as Naruto hangs off a tree branch and calls out to him. To not even acknowledge him. But Naruto isn't someone to underestimate, so turning his back on him would be stupid. So Sasuke lifts his gaze to the other, Sharingan eyes narrowed.
"It's stupid to look a Sharingan user directly in the eyes," he says.
