I saw a post the other day that was like “RIP Grantaire you would’ve loved using AI for stuff” and I can’t find it again but I feel like. He wouldn’t. He strikes me as the kind of person to be like: “Wdym you used ChatGPT to write your essay? That’s so much more work than just plagiarizing a Wikipedia article. God, you can’t even just copy and paste from the first article that shows up on google? There’s so much stuff out there to steal from when you’re too lazy to do your own work. Hell, if you’ve got a nerd of a friend get them to do it. Do your own plagiarism.” Although I do think he’d argue for the use of AI in different fields just to piss Enjolras off.

No Grantaire LOVES to yap above all else. he wouldn't need to plagiarize anything. he'd just smoke a joint and bang out the wildest bullshit of an argument which completely missed the point of the essay to begin with and he'd fail, and then he'd be like "they just don't understand aristotle's rhetoric the way i do" and then he'd scroll all the way through enjolras' instagram and accidentally like a photo from 2014

the Moment anyone in his presence considered using ai (marius, lol) he'd be out of his chair offering to write it for them instead. and when he did it would be a deeply poetic treatise on failure itself instead of whatever it was he was supposed to be writing
