Not sure if anyone still follows me, but I actually have like 2 minutes to myself tonight so I thought I should check in. I’m still alive! Alive and very happy. Since you last heard from me I’ve become a mom, which is everything I ever hoped it would be. I rarely sleep and never have time for myself, but life is so full in the best way. I occasionally get reviews asking about Roses in December, which is why I thought this post was necessary. The 100% honest truth is that most of the rest of RiD was already written in rough draft form before I gave birth, and when I decided to stay up one night several months later to finish it, my computer didn’t work. I wrote RiD on an old laptop that I used just for writing, and I hadn’t used it in all those months, so I didn’t know anything was wrong with it. It turns on, but the trackpad doesn’t work. I’ve tried troubleshooting the problem online, but nothing has solved it. I’ll need to find the time and money at some point to get it fixed, because the idea of starting all that work over again is absolutely horrific to me. Like there are days I don’t have time to shower, so writing something from scratch... just not possible. I guarantee you I will be able to finish it this year, probably in the summer when I’ll have time to breathe. I know most readers aren’t still around after all this time, and that’s totally understandable. I take no offense. It’s about finishing what I started, and giving a resolution to those who still want one. Much love to all, xoxo ck

Thank you love! I’m hoping to finish all of RiD before posting any more chapters, so I don’t leave people hanging again. This story gives my life such anxiety, I can’t wait for it to be done. But at the same time I want to do it justice because people have waited so long. Hopefully not too much longer.

Working at a New York City sperm bank hadn't exactly been a part of Kurt Hummel's ten-year plan, but it had flexible hours and kept him afloat while he worked an unpaid fashion internship.
