I'm so so so so excited to see what the anniversary ends up being. It's been a while since they created this much hype for an anniversary specifically--especially with the logos at the ends of the videos, it feels like an event.

I don't think it'll be adventure mode or Tidelord-related, I think there would've been more indication in dev updates if adventure mode was this close (and didn't they confirm that it's *not* adventure mode/tidelord?) (unless they've been sitting smugly on the world's biggest surprise and somehow managing to not leak it at *all*, plus outright lying on the forums, which would honestly be a hilarious move of them 10/10)

It's for sure not an Ancient, and I also don't think it's another Modern. Moderns take an increasing amount of work to pull off so I don't think it would be that so soon after obelisks (i know it's been 3 years but that's still. like. idk it just feels like it was 30 seconds ago, y'know?)

I think it's something we would have no way of anticipating. Another game, another feature (I saw some speculation that it could be some kind of patrol feature--you send your dragons out exploring, etc.). Whatever it is I'm excited, anniversary updates are always really neat.

I'm glad they're re-prioritizing what they do with the way lore is incorporated into site updates. It sucks that they were so crunched with the short stories--especially with everyone taking on so many roles site-wise--and I hope moving forward they'll be able to stress less and we'll get some really cool, more concrete stuff.
