In real life.

It’s wild how all this time is wasted on trying to be attractive, when we so often end up attracting people who are vacant…because so few have done what it takes to know themselves. What we know are markets and themes sold as goals. Caricatures of the soul. But how many people can we talk to when we are lonely? How many people do we actually know? To stay warm, we have to come closer. To come closer means to be more true. It makes sense to me that the world feels colder now.

But people can hurt you when you get close.

I’m just in a state of reimagining my world–leaning into less of what I know and more of what I don’t–and embracing the immense mystery of the future. I know intimately the great unhappiness of staying somewhere because I think I should. Should is such a terrible word. Is it possible to know who I am? Or is it more likely that I am the sum of the chances I’ve taken? Is it more likely that I am the consequences of my accidents? This life is such an abstract art–a breathing, kaleidoscopic, miraculous mistake. I’m just in a state of learning new colors from the deep velvet bruises of suffering. This consciousness, this being alive shit, this wilderness. Who am I to know what I think I know? I’d rather be curious. 

HOW HE TREATS YOU IS HOW HE FEELS ABOUT YOU. DONT TRY TO DECODE IT OR MAKE EXCUSES ITS SIMPLE. IF HE ACTS LIKE HE DOESNT CARE, HE DOESNT CARE.
