*Pray for a Saint to set us free. Blinding steady beams of light to scorch the very liquid from your eyes. Do you pray? Do you have faith? Hope even?

*A murder of crows circles above you. Looking for the scraps of flesh that melt from your brittle bones. It's so easy to forget, to disconnect yourself. When was the last time you sat and felt? Maybe, just maybe, you could be happy.

*Imagine a giant empty meadow.

*Lay in it.

*Move your arms across the blades. Take in a deep breath. The daffodils scent moving gently past you as you look up to the sky. Could you be happy?

*Or maybe you need the pungent smell of sea salt. Roaring waves that send shivers down your spine. Gritty sand that glues itself to you. The caw of gulls as they soar through the perfect dawn sky. Could you be happy?

All still apart from the gushing roar of the water.

Peaceful, hypnotizing even.

Every breathe taken feeling like a dagger piercing.

I arrive empty handed and leave just the same but my soul feels just ever more full.

Clouds of white appear and disappear before me as bird song fills my ears.

Even with the plethora of different muds around, somehow the atmosphere is clean, each breath allowing me to see clearer.

You could have told me anything. But somehow you were right.

Such a simple thing to clear the mind.

As I descend I run my hands along giant moss covered stones.

The birdsong has faded into the hum of a thousand crickets.

Sun begins to peak its hands through the leaves.

I'm sure you would love to see it too. I mean, there's always tommorow.
