“301.” Graham answered. He looked at the girl and asked, “What about you?” He really had no interest in where this girl was living, but he decided he should at least try to be friendly to her.

“A few floors below you,” she simply said, not really caring enough to give her full address. “I think my roommate is called Jade or something... maybe you know her?”

Georgina nodded and perked up at the mention of college. “Oh, you’re in college, me too!” She smiled. “What school do you go to? What’s your major?” She asked. If she could find at least one person in this place that had something in common with her, this place couldn’t be so bad, could it?

"Um, I’m doing a distance program and I’m enrolled in San Juan - I’m from New Mexico,” she explained, then shrugged. “I’m studying to become a vet, and I couldn’t find a better school near here. What about you?”

“I’m in apartment 650.” Georgina said with a smile. “Oh a roommate? Did you request one?” She hated the idea of living with someone else, but she had to give props to Cindy for getting a roommate.

“Oh wow, you’re high up,” she stated, a brow quirking slightly. She wasn’t quite sure how it all worked yet, but she’d grasped that the higher-up apartments were fancier than her own. “I didn’t really request one per se, I just said I wouldn’t mind the company. And I can’t get the full college experience without a roommate, right?”

Graham leaned back in his own chair. “We can.” He said and looked at her. 

“Cool, thanks,” she said somewhat coolly, glancing back and forth between her magazine and the man. “So what apartment are you in?” At the very least she’d find out where not to be caught sneaking around.

“Thank you, your name is pretty too.” Georgina said and laughed at the question. “I live here. I actually just moved in.”

“Oh, me too,” she said, resting back in her chair. She was here to relax, after all. “So what apartment are you in? I have a roommate but I haven’t met her yet... it’s weird, we don’t seem to be home at the same hours at all.”

“Oh the sexist Malibu Stacey is another one of my favorites.” Georgina smiled. She held her hand out to the blonde and said, “Georgina White.”

“Well, that’s pretty”, she stated somewhat dryly but without any offence. “I’m Cindy Eggers,” she added, shaking the other girl’s hand. “So do you live here too or did you sneak into the Rag’s pool area?”

“I kinda am, but I haven’t really had the chance to catch up on any of it.” Georgina admitted with a smile. “Uh, my favorite one is the one where Homer quits but goes back at the end of the episode and his banner ends up saying Do It For Her with pictures of Maggie all over it.” She sat down in the chair next to Cindy and looked at her. “What about you?”

“Yeah, the newer seasons suck anyway. It’s all about the first ten,” she said with a nod, looking at Georgina as she sat down. “That’s a good one. I think for me it’s a tie between Homer’s Enemy and the one with the sexist talking Malibu Stacey doll. Both classics.”

uh yeah there were the pumps i bought which fell apart after literally one wear

um i feel like it’s the root of some evil? like the world would definitely be a better place if everything wasn’t all about making money and buying more stuff
