Unsure how many queen fans there are on tumblr but Brian and Roger have a veryyyy very special place in my heart and they are both so easy to draw

Born on the twenty-first of May

 “Brian wanted to take his Red Special to America with him [circa 1983], as he was planning to go into a studio and work on a solo project he had in mind. The guitar was far too precious to him to have it thrown into the hold of the aircraft and he asked if it might be taken on board as hand luggage. The airline refused, saying it was far too big to be stowed either under the seat or in the overhead locker as hand luggage. The only alternative was to give it a seat, and if he wanted to do that, then he would have to pay for it. It seemed that this was the only way, so Brian agreed and paid a child’s fare for it”
