Tara desperately wants her father to get back into the dating world. She knows that he's barely put himself out there since he adopted her 8 years ago. While at school, Tara overheard Alexander Goth gossiping outside the science lab about his sister, Cassandra, being left at the alter by some guy named "Lothario".

Tara knew what she had to do. She walked up to Alex, grabbed him by the hand and pulled him into a classroom where she proposed her master plan.

Tara: I think your sister should go on a date with my dad.

Alex: What happened to introductions?

Tara: Hi Alexander, I'm Tara DeBateau. Yes, that DeBateau. We both come from wealthy families with single family sim heirs. Doesn't it make sense to introduce them and see what happens?

Sure enough, Alex agrees and Cassandra comes over for dinner that night.

The pair get along incredibly well and have another dinner that weekend. This time with Cassandra's father coming along.

Cassandra: Today at the lab I was examining the most fascinating bug...

Excited about the success of her plan, Tara invites her best friend Jules O'Mackey over. Gushing about love, she made her confession to her best friend.

Jules: Oh, Tara! I've always felt the same, I can't believe it's taken us this long to figure it out.

Armand decided to take Cassandra out on the town, leaving the new couple alone in the penthouse.

While on their date, Cassandra and Armand continue to get to know each other.

Armand: Really, my whole world revolves around Tara. Yes, I have my company, but nothing really made me happier than adopting her. I think I'm ready to trust again after my ex-wife.

Darren was shocked when Cassandra arrived at his door with tears in her eyes. As soon as he let her in, she crashed on his couch sobbing, saying something about dumping Don because she "knows who he really is". Darren brought her a change of clothes, some tissues, and a plate of freshly baked cookies, holding back from confessing his love.

The next morning, as he said goodbye, Darren whispered to Cassandra that he loves her. Cassandra takes a step back, looks at Darren, and kisses him.

When Brandi called Don up to "hang out", he didn't think it would be with her kids and two other women he's woohoo'd. Leave it to Don to be on the most cursed outings ever.

Pleasantview remains shaken by the disappearance of Bella Goth. If we go back to the night she disappeared, you'd find her at Don's condo. However, Bella wasn't who was supposed to be taken. Don was the target of the aliens: handsome, charismatic, ideal specimen for an alien baby. The aliens didn't expect Bella Goth to be the one stargazing that night, and by the time they realized she wasn't Don, it was too late.

Bella lives in the stars for years, learning disturbing truths about Sim City, watching her family move on without her. Through her observations, she grows sympathetic for Don who was supposed to be in her place. When she is returned to Pleasantview with only small portions of her memories, she finds refuge with Don Lothario, the one man she knows expects nothing from the old Bella.

As she gets to know Don, she finds safety and familiarity with him. The pair aren't dating. It's something deeper. Almost a mutual understanding of love and friendship, with no expectation of longevity. Bella doesn't know how long she will hide out in the condo, but all she knows is she can't go home to the Goth manor.

Mary-Sue: Do you think we did the right thing sending Lilith to live with my mom?

Daniel: Of course we did honey. She was out of control. We couldn't have her ruining Angela's future. Your mom offered, I'm sure it'll all be okay. Now, how about we take your mind of that...

Angela: Can you believe they just shipped her off? Like, I hate her, but Lilith is still family? Gosh, my parents are so spineless when it comes to loyalty. Dustin? Dustin? Are you even listening to me?

Dustin: *loud eating noises*

Mary-Sue: Now, listen up kid. I know you care about my daughter, but I also know about your reputation. If you want to have a future with Angela, you have to get out of the crime world. If I find out you keep seeing her without quitting, I'll make sure the proper authorities are called. Trust me, nothing gets past Mary-Sue!

Dustin: *under his breath* sure it doesn't...

Unlike her sister, Angela decides to head off to Sim State for University.

To celebrate being empty nesters, Daniel proposes a vacation for him and Mary-Sue.

The trip started off nice with some nice tea with other guests at the hotel. Unfortunately, after a walking tour, Mary-Sue ended up with a rash from poison ivy.

Luckily, the local masseuse offered a poison ivy relief experience.

Mary-Sue: Thank you for this trip Daniel, I really needed time away from all the drama back home.

At Lucy’s birthday party, Lilith and Angela Pleasant’s simmering rivalry finally boiled over, turning a snide comment into a shouting match that sent cake flying and guests scrambling. Mortified and fed up, their parents sent Lilith to live with her grandmother until graduation, leaving Angela stunned and the whole family wondering how a simple celebration had exploded into Pleasant family chaos.

Now, Lilith lays in her new room at her grandmother's house processing everything she's going through.

Lilith: I wonder what Tybalt would say if he knew what went down at the party? He'd probably say something about how my situation is so much better than the "Romeo and Juliet situation"

To get over Herb's death, Coral began getting into football. Making sure she stays active and hopefully prolong her life. Staying on top of her activity got easier when her co-worker Oberon proposed an alternative. At first, Coral was skeptical because she knew he had a partner. Her worries calmed when Titania confirmed the couple were in an open relationship as long as they practiced safe woohoo.

I think that this new situation her grandma is in has made this move even worse for Lilith.

With her new found freedom, Lilith realized she can get away with a lot more now that she's free from her parents and her grandma works nights. Lilith decided to explore her relationship with Rick Contrary.

As days pass, Lilith and Coral grow closer. Lilith begins to be appreciative of the move and sees the positives in the situation.

For her birthday, Coral bought Lilith a new bass to keep her busy. Coral is so impressed by how talented her granddaughter is and is excited she finally has the space to thrive in.

While on the phone with her aunt Jenn, Herb decides to make an appearance and greet his granddaughter Lilith.

As she lived her final years of high school with her grandmother, Lilith began to realize that the college path wasn't for her. Lilith was super grateful that her grandmother understood her journey and let her navigate the path that made the most sense for her. This meant going straight into the workforce and figuring things out.

However, immediately after aging up Lilith immediately felt the weight of adulthood.

Lilith sent out her resume to a number of organizations and one of the first ones to get back to her was a campaign team for local politician Ramir Patel. Lilith remembered his name being whispered in hushed tones by her mother; her political rival.

John and Jennifer continue to grow closer and closer, really embracing their new life in Pleasantview.

The stay-at-home dad life has caused John to go a little stir crazy. As he looks at the bills, John realizes he needs to do anything he can to contribute to the cash flow. Shout out to Mortimer for his generosity!

Bottom: And back in Veronaville, things like magic and fairies actually exist!

Jennifer: *what on earth is this kid yapping about, and is her name actually Bottom?!*

Jennifer was feeling a bit bored with her old look and decided to chop off her hair to go with her new job.

John seems to be a big fan of the new look.

Jennifer: Baby, I appreciate that you stay home to make sure Lucy gets to and from school safely but I am really starting to feel the money strain. I think it's time you get a job. Or at least clean up the house when you're home.

Almost as if her pleas were heard, a magic lamp appears at the Burb house and John wishes for some financial help.

Parties are always a hit if you invite the Pleasant family! However, at Lucy's childhood birthday, Lilith and Angela went too far. The pair punched and slapped each other in the newly renovated kitchen, knocking over the birthday cake John baked for his daughter's birthday.

Daniel: That's it!! Lilith, I have had enough of these shenanigans. You are 16, which is far too old to be picking fights with Angela. Can't you see how you're destroying her? Bringing her down to your level?

We didn't want to do this here, but your mother and I have been talking with your grandmother. We think it may be best to separate the two of you and have you finish the next year or so of high school living with grandma Coral.

Let's just say the party ended pretty quickly after that.

As she sat outside reflecting on the trainwreck that was her birthday, Lucy saw her old friend Alex Goth walking past her house. But this time it was different. Was Alex, cute? Lucy hopes that maybe everything happens for a reason and that she was meant to run into Alex outside the worst birthday ever.

Back in Pleasantview, Beau ages up into a child. Brandi was able to scrounge together enough change to buy him a new bed to stuff into Dustin's bedroom. Dustin is less than thrilled to be sharing a room but knows sacrifices need to be made with the new baby on the way.

Speaking of sacrifices, Brandi had to choose between groceries or paying for heat. Looks like the Broke's will be bundled up inside tonight!

Fed up with the drama at his house, Rick Contrary keeps dropping by the Broke trailer. However, I can't help but think he's not here for his buddy Dustin when all he does is talk to Brandi. Looks like someone has an unrequited crush.

Unfortunately for Rick, he's the only other person home when Brandi gives birth and is scarred by witnessing the miracle of childbirth.

Rick: Wow! That sure looked painful Ms. Brandi. I'm sorry I almost passed out back there, thanks for the water. Let me know if you ever need a strong man to support you during these hard times *flexes*

Brandi: Haha! Thank you Rick. I'm glad you're feeling better. Unfortunately, my type is strictly not high schoolers.

More specifically, Brandi's type is long-haired stoners who dabble in science and abduction from time to time.

Unfortunately for Dustin, he was witness to this budding romance between Lazlo and Brandi.

I guess I forgot to screenshot when Brandi gave birth, but here is baby Bobby Broke as a toddler. I am loving the crazy hair.

Even though he has only just started dating Brandi, Lazlo is beginning to embrace the step-dad role.

Brandi: Dustin, I think you should start considering going to University.

Timothy realized that with all the over time he's been putting into work, it had been a while since he's been on a date with his new girlfriend Vivian. They'd only been dating for a couple of months, but who is he kidding? Timothy has loved her for years, and he knows Vivian feels the same. He knew that with his upcoming day off he wanted to take the next step with Vivian and propose.

Vivian knew things with renowned player Carlos Contender would never end well, but she couldn't help but think she was special to him. That proved not to be true when he dumped her in a five minute conversation.

She spent the next few days sulking on her balcony, wondering if her love life was destined to be as bland as her leftover takeout, when her neighbor Timothy Riley happened to walk by and ask if she was alright. Something about his easy smile and the way he listened without trying to impress her caught her completely off guard. What started as a simple chat turned into an hour-long conversation, then a shared dinner, and soon Vivian found herself laughing in ways she hadn’t in weeks. It felt sudden, almost ridiculous, how quickly her heart rerouted itself, but as she looked at Timothy she knew that maybe Carlos was never the man for her.

Thank goodness Vivian is paying for TWO nannies so they can make sure that the landlord is safe on the playground!

Etsu aged up into a child and all she wanted to do to celebrate was play cops and robbers with her best friend Sally.

Vivian: You know I love you right?

Etsu: Yes, mom. I know.

Vivian: How would you feel if I started going on dates with somebody?

Etsu: By somebody, do you mean Timothy?

Vivian: What?! How'd you know?

Etsu: You guys have basically been in love since we moved in. Of course I knew. Everyone knows.

Vivian would do anything for Etsu, including ending her budding relationship with Timothy. However, she can't help but be relieved that she has her daughter's approval.

Etsu: You know our parents are going to get married, right?

Carlos thought he had all of his affairs in order. He quickly learned that wasn't true when Jessica invited him over to her trailer and dropped a bomb.

Jessica: I'm pregnant. It's yours. I will go to the press about your affairs if you don't wire me 100,000 simoleons.

Carlos: What?! I don't have 100,000. I haven't fought in years and my savings aren't what they used to be.

Jessica: I guess you'll have to do me something better. How about marriage? That way when you pass, I'll get your life insurance payout.

Carlos knew what he had to do and ends things with Vivian the next day. He doesn't tell her the real reasons why, making up some excuse that "she deserves better".

Carlos also knew he had to work quickly to keep Jessica quiet. He can't risk her going to the press and further ruining his image. Not immediately after his sister Isabelle just gave him a stern talking to about the family legacy.

Somehow, the local news caught wind of the wedding and wanted to cover the event. Now, Carlos had to shell out money for a wedding party for a sham marriage.

Pregnancy hit Jessica hard and lost the battle between eating cake and making it to the bathroom on time.

Carlos never expected to catch feelings for Vivian. Unfortunately, something about her youthful excitement brings Carlos back to his glory days and now he can't seem to let her go. The pair begin going steady shortly after their first date.

Carlos: Let me show you how a world champ does it!

The pair continue to grow closer and closer, and they are obviously very comfortable around each other. Vivian has basically moved in, sleeping over 5 nights a week. Nothing brings them closer than getting over the Sim flu by each other's side.

However, on the rare occasion that Vivian leaves to go to work, Carlos finds plenty of time for extracurriculars. Exhibit 1: Samantha Cordial.

Back from her first day of work at her new job, Kaylynn finally starts to show.

Don is shocked by the sheer amount of pregnant women in Pleasantview. Luckily none are his, right?!

(Pleasantview? More like Pregnantview...)

Kaylynn decides that now that she's officially showing, it's time to invite Daniel over and share the happy news.

Kaylynn: Darling, I hope you're enjoying your lobster. I'm sure you're wondering what's the special occasion.

Daniel: *mouth full* not really.

Kaylynn: Well, I'm pregnant! And it's yours!! Isn't this so exciting.

Daniel: *choking noises*

After administering the Heimlich maneuver on Daniel, Kaylynn gives birth to baby Delilah. For now, she'll have the Langerak last name. Daniel insists it's just until his divorce from Mary-Sue finalizes.

Daniel: I've gotta say, almost dying earlier really shows you how temporary life is. What do you say we head over to the couch and celebrate the beauty of life?

Kaylynn: We could also celebrate the birth of our daughter?

Daniel: Yes, of course. That too.

As Kaylynn sleeps, Daniel steps up and surprisingly autonomously does some of the parenting duties so Kaylynn can get her rest.

Daniel: Hi baby girl. Maybe third time's the charm and I won't screw you up.

The next morning, Don stops by.

Don: I heard from my buddy Daniel that you had his baby. Thought I should stop by you know? Make sure it's not mine.

Kaylynn: Wow, Don. You make me sick. I will never be happier that you're not my daughter's father. You're not even half the man that Daniel is. You know what? Don't bother coming by anymore. Anything we had while I was your maid is over now. Get lost.

Kimberly spent the morning reorganizing the living room again, determined to prove that the furniture would finally feel balanced if she just shifted it a little more. Samantha headed into town to pick up a few things and she ended up literally bumping into Armand DeBateau outside the bakery. He apologized with a smile, she laughed it off, and they ended up talking far longer than either of them expected.

When Samantha returned home with her arms full of pastries that Armand insisted on buying her, Kimberly was already teasing her about "pastry man".

Kimberly: That man must have money to be able to afford all of those jacquet pastries.

Samantha: well... I'd say he's comfortable. Especially considering pastry man is Armand DeBateau.

Kimberly insists her sister invite Armand over for dinner ASAP. Dinner is a massive success and Samantha and Armand end the night with a quick kiss.

Meanwhile, Kimberly and Chastity continued to grow closer.

Chastity tried to play it cool, insisting she wasn’t built for anything serious, yet she always showed up when Kimberly needed her and always stayed longer than she planned.

One quiet evening in the park, as they sat together watching the fountain lights shimmer, Kimberly took Chastity’s hands and asked her to marry her.

For a moment Chastity looked stunned, as if every Romance Sim instinct told her to bolt, but instead she smiled, leaned in close, and said yes!

The sisters and their romantic interests dance the night away in celebration after enjoying a delicious engagement celebration dinner.

Samantha has really gotten into dancing lately

In preparation for her upcoming wedding, Kimberly has been working out. Seems like she's impressed with her progress.

Trying to make the most of the time between voyages, Alexandra decides to explore downtown. While downing a drink at one of the local bars, she spots the most gorgeous man she's ever seen. Next thing she knows, he's sliding into the booth next to her.

Don: “Are you a full green plumbob? Because every time I’m near you, all my needs are suddenly fulfilled.”

Alexandra's heart stops. She looks up and meets his eyes and knows she has to do everything she can to keep him talking.

Alexandra: *laughs* I've got to admit, that's a good one. I'm Alexandra.

Don: I'm Don. What's a gorgeous red head like you doing all alone on a night like this?

The pair talk for hours until the bar closes early the next morning.

The next day Alexandra can't stop thinking about Don and decides to invite him over for lunch.

The date goes well and the pair end the night with a quick woohoo. Don slips out before Alexandra wakes, and she's grateful she doesn't have to worry about asking him to leave her apartment before she leaves for her exploration trip later that day.

While away on her trip, Alexandra grows even closer with her coworker Morty who shares with her that his wife just left him.

Alexandra: I'm so sorry to her about your ex-wife. How about I show you some things to keep your mind off of her? Pick up where we left off on our date a few months back?

Morty was more than down, and the pair enjoyed a couple of very nice dates.

While she loved her time with Morty, Alexandra could not turn down the opportunity to go on a date with local millionaire Armand DeBateau. Just as Alexandra was inviting Armand inside her place for a night cap, Morty stopped by. Luckily, Morty couldn't see anything over the fence and Alexandra is in the clear. For now. Morty really isn't having great luck in the romance department.

In a twisted turn of fate, Alexandra wakes up in the night feeling nauseous. She doesn't need a test to know that she's pregnant. It feels just the same as when she was pregnant with Jules. Oh, Jules. Alexandra hopes that she's doing well; it's been years since she's seen her daughter.

Now we go to the Caliente sisters!

Dina: Nina, I'm worried Mortimer is cheating on me. He keeps turning me down every time I ask to woohoo and he rejected my proposal twice!

Nina: I find it funny that you're worried about him cheating. I feel like I definitely heard you and Don "getting to know each other" last night.

Dina: Yeah, but there's no way Mortimer knows about that. Plus, no marriage, no money. Maybe when I tell him about the baby, he'll feel obligated to finally go to the town hall and get married.

Nina: Wow... I'm so jealous of the love you share.

Dina: *scoff* at least I'm not hopelessly in love with a man that will woohoo with anything that moves.

Dina invites Mortimer over and wastes absolutely no time trying to butter him up. Unfortunately, Mortimer was not having it.

Mortimer: Enough!! Dina, I'm serious. I may be old, but I'm not trying to rush into anything. Us woohooing so early on was a mistake. I'd like to take the time and get to know you before we even discuss the potential of marriage.

Dina: Mortimer... I'm sorry. I think part of the reason I was rushing is because. Well... Mortimer, I'm pregnant.

Mortimer: Oh. I don't know what to say.

Dina: Well, maybe you should go back to your house and think about what to say and come back when you know how to talk to the future mother of your child.

Shortly after Mortimer goes home Dina goes into labor. Welcome to the world Clara Goth!

The next day Mortimer shows up to the door and apologizes to Dina.

Mortimer: I'm sorry for how I acted yesterday darling. I am an old fashioned man. If it's true that you're going to have my baby, I think we should go forward with a marriage, to make sure our child is set up for success when I pass.

Dina: It's not true.

Mortimer: What?!

Dina: I'm not going to have your baby. I've already had your baby. Would you like to meet her?

Meeting his daughter had Mortimer in very high spirits and he wasted no time sharing that excitement with Dina. (Hopefully Clara is too young to remember this)

While Dina and Mortimer grow closer, Nina makes a discovery of her own.

Nina: Oh plumbob! Pregnant?! By who?! How?! I thought I was being so careful. What am I ever going to do?

Nina decides that since she is expecting, she may as well practice her parenting skills on her niece.

Ahhhh the first day of Fall has Herb wanting to head out to the park and watch the birds (and maybe look for some local cuties).

Herb: And so when hummingbirds fly, they actually fly backwards! Not to mention...

Elizabeth Aspir: Oh... would you look at how well they mow the lawn at this park?

Herb decided to try his luck elsewhere. While out on the town, he successfully managed to ask out Kaylynn Langerak. He heard rumors of other Pleasantview men having successful dates with, so Herb figured he should shoot his shot.

While on their date, Herb managed to convince Kaylynn to woohoo with him in the hot tub. Unfortunately, Mrs. Crumplebottom witnessed everything and Herb took a handbag to the head.

I guess that handbag did more damage than initially thought because when Herb was on a date with Brandi the next night, he passed away. Side note: Brandi was not thrilled that her date barely paid her any attention (blame Grim)

Coral did not take Herb's death well...

Not to be confused with the Goth family, but are now headed to Riverblossom Hills.

With both of her parent going back to work, Sandra is hard at work making dinner after the first day of school.

Morty has been feeling the distance from his wife Stella, and it's taken a toll on him. At least, that's what he tells himself when he accepts a date from his coworker Alexandra Teatherton. However, the whole date, Morty was rattled with guilt and refused to do any sort of romantic interaction. The second he got home, Morty turned to the workout machine, trying to block out what he had done.

Xander and his new best friend Daniel Bell. The pair play SSX for hours until Morty comes downstairs to tell them that dinner is ready.

Meanwhile, Stella is still stewing in her anger towards her husband. When her neighbor Gilbert Jacquet invites her out for a night on the town, it's incredibly easy for her to say yes. It doesn't hurt that he's super good looking (and the pair have 3 bolts!)

Meanwhile...

Morty: "So kiddos! What are your thoughts on Aliens?"

The days pass and Stella continues to spend as much time as possible with her new romance Gilbert. She can't seem to get him out of her mind. She just hopes her husband doesn't catch on to her "extended hours" at work.

After getting fired from her job, Sandra has found a new passion for gardening.

Big day at the Roth house! Sandra got an A+ on her final report card and is moving to college. Also, Xander aged up into a Family Sim.

Unfortunately, the festivities were postponed until late into the night because Stella was nowhere to be found.

Stella finally comes home around 11 p.m. and Morty confronts her.

Morty: "Stella! Where the hell have you been? You almost missed our childrens' birthdays."

Stella: "I think you should sit down."

Morty: "What?"

Stella: "Morty, I'm not happy. I haven't been since you dragged us out to Riverblossom Hills. My job let me go, all my friends are too busy to return my calls, I feel like I have nothing left here"

Morty: "we can fix that!"

Stella: "Morty. This is far from fixing."

Morty: "What? I promise I will do better, I will help you find happiness again"

Stella: "I have found happiness, it just happens to be with someone else. Morty, I have to see this through and follow my heart. Now is the perfect time with Sandra moving to college and Xander being old enough to understand. I'll stay living here for now to help with the transition, but even that isn't permanant"

Morty: "What the hell Stella! Who the hell is it?! Tell me now!"

Stella: "It's Gilbert Jacquet. I'm going to go upstairs and move some of my things to Sandra's old room. Good night, Morty."
