Well, needless to say, the day of departure on Monday 20th Februar Cape Town experienced a cold front of note We departed Cape Town at 8 pm, unfortunately 4 hours behind schedule, and we were informed that due to heavy swells in Luderitz, we would not be going but would overnight in Walvis Bay. I was, of course, disappointed, but when sailing, you have no control over the weather.
