Chris Keller

       ”Chris Keller, right?         I don’t think that we’ve been properly introduced.       I’m the new opening act and I’m here to shake things up.       You’re cool with that, right?”

"Chris Keller is the name yes. Who are you again? Shaking things up? What the hell does that even mean?"

Haley: No way you are handcuffing me. You'll lose the key and

then use that Chris Keller voice to say that you did.

Chris: Baby. Don't you trust me?

Haley: Still lost on how we got trapped in there. It makes no sense. And what is this 'at home' thing?

Chris: Do you really think so? :P

"I do. You know I do." She looked up, running her fingers through his hair. "Thank you… for everything that you do for me. I can’t repay you for any of it." Anaks stood on her toes to reach him, kissing his temple. "I know. I guess I just get too nervous to allow those feelings to show through when you’re listening. I mean," she blushed, averting her eyes to the ground. "The song’s about you."

"I know it is baby girl. That's the point isn't it? I know it's hard, and I already know it's about me, so just, why don't you just sing to me? Tell me what you really feel." He smiled, placing a soft kiss to her cheek. "You're awesome, and amazing. You're beautiful baby."

"Keep calling me beautiful and I might just do that." she smiled, her tone teasing and light. The idea that she was an exception, that not a lot of fans had the opportunity to go out on a date with Chris Keller made her a little smug, though at the same time she reminded herself that this was nothing more than a job for him. It was still hard not to let herself get carried away though — paid or not, this was a dream come true for her.

"Beautiful." He smirked in return, his tone thick with tease. He knew he was treading on light waters, especially with fans like these, but she sure was cute, and she sure knew her way around a date. He was having fun. "So, tell me a bit more about yourself Blair."

She frowned quietly, looking down. "I don't think you're an asshole. Just extremely confident. A little cocky maybe, but I think I can handle you." Jade winked and nudged him playfully before shivering, looking out for the car. "So...is your driver here or am I going to have to ask you to hold me? I'm cold."

"Extremely confident. I don't know if I say I'm extremely confident, but confident I guess." He smiled at her, smirking as he took off his coat. "I'm sorry. He's going to be a little late. Come on, let's keep you warm. You'd...You'd me comfortable with me holding you right now?" He cocked his eyebrow.

"And Chris Keller wasn’t kidding when he said wear something nice” Peyton replied, a desperate look being cast around the restaurant. “I thought you were kidding” she insisted, “I’m seriously under dressed for this place.” She had come straight from work, without the time to change even if she had planned to. When he had told her to dress up she had simply assumed he was kidding, idly  flirting like he was won’t to do.

"Chris Keller never kids about fashion." He chuckled, half teasing but he knew and he thought she did too that it was true. Maybe this was all just in Chris' head. Maybe this wasn't as serious of a date as he thought it was. Maybe it was just a dinner.

"Oh shush Peyt. You look fabulous. Now sit down and let's get dinner because I'm starving."

It was with a hurried pace and an apologetic tone that Peyton joined Chris. The words "I’m sorry,” came out earnest and by way of greeting, her handbag joining her feet beneath the table once she took her seat.  "Have you been waiting long?" she asked, her fingers combing through her hair, a furtive glance sliding in his direction. “I swear, I’m like two hours late for everything that isn’t work these days.”

Chris was nervously waiting at the table and glanced back at his watch. Was she ditching? He didn't think she was the kind, and he was more than about ready to leave when he saw her walk through the door and settle down opposite him. He could only fashion a smile.

"Nah, I just got here. Okay that's a lie but, I tried?" He chuckled, adjusting his tie that came along with his blazer and shirt as he trailed over here. "Chris Keller thinks you look amazing."

"Dude, you’re kind of a creep."

"And don’t call me that."

"I'm a creep for calling you pretty? What?"

"Yes I’m sure!"

"Chill. Just making sure. So whaddya say pretty girl?"

"Dude no!"

"Beca. Are you sure?"

Oh you can just text me the address and I’ll meet you there. I’ve got some stuff I need to get done anyway

"Oh right. Of course. Well, uh, I'll see you later Peyt. Wear something nice."
