often these things can't be explained

okay actual update: sorry for procrastinating this so long but here we go! i will most likely not be returning to post on tumblr anytime in the near future although i am still writing just as fervently in private. this is for several rather uninteresting reasons/changes in my life (all wonderfully positive) but even regardless of those the truth is i just don’t enjoy tumblr anymore and trying to post every day makes writing feel too performative for me and eventually it always starts to seem like a chore/obligation and i guess it just doesn’t serve me anymore/right now. i’ll still leave everything up and who knows maybe i’ll come back in a year or three as i have many times before over the 11/12? years i’ve inconsistently used the platform 🤷🏻‍♀️ anyway, u can still message me and i still enjoy browsing here and there but the truth is i don’t plan on posting regularly or otherwise in the immediate future or for the time being but thanks for all the love and attention and hope everyone is staying sane and safe ❤️ EDIT: ps i am doing amazing actually, somehow despite the state of the world, i’m the happiest and heathiest i’ve been in a over a decade so pls don’t worry or read into this post the wrong way lol 😘
