honestly i’ve been thinking about this a lot and i just want to talk about yoongi and jk for a moment - feel free to cry with me. yoongi has said in the past that he wants to be the kind of father who is a friend and who can have happy memories with his children. he also treasures childhood and innocence and playfulness and genuinely wants to protect that childlike wonder and innocence in others. he is so protective of it. and with jk, he is so soft with him and has such patience with him. if it were anyone else doing half the things jk does, yoongi would end them. but with jk, he just lets him. i always think of jk laughing so hard and windmilling his arms and smacking yoongi over and over and over and yoongi just sitting there letting him. or when jungkook yanked out a hair from his head, and yoongi didn’t bat an eye. jk is their kid. namjoon says that more than once ‘that’s our kid, he’s our kid, etc.’ and yoongi definitely sees jk that way. he’s their kid and he’s going to do all he can, and has always, to protect that childlikeness that jk still has. yoongi knows what it is to grow up too fast and be thrown into things when you’re still so very young. and he doesn’t want that for jungkook. he wants him to still have that innocence and wonder and playfulness to him and he will protect that boy and his youth with all he can and i just can’t stop thinking about that and their friendship/relationship to one another and crying. 

well shit. tell me why my dumbass only just realised that all of these references that are in the mv come from stories where life prevails??? where life moves on past death and destruction and heartbreak and pain??? the whole mv is literally just showing people moving on and moving forward and doing it even when there is risk or danger, and they're not being subtle about it.
