it's so annoying when girls with black hair call themselves "brunettes" because brunette means literally the color brown not black, all these video's on youtube "pros and cons of being blonde vs brunette" are just girls with black hair claiming name that isn't for them and that's a problem because then society thinks brunettes can't be light, society will think brunette always means dark because girls with black hair call themselves brunettes.

Hello Maja first of all i hope you are well, i’ve been a big fan of your blog, i love the way you dress, the way you take pictures and you made me found my own style!
I have so many questions because you are such an interesting person and i love the way you are & how you answer questions! Of course you can totally ignore this ask if you don’t feel like answering them i can imagine how overwhelming and sometimes annoying it can be!
Here’s what i’m curious about:
- How do you manage to have such a beautiful skin? (I struggle with adult acne so i’m desperate to find a way to have a clear skin 🙏🏼)
- Where do you buy your clothes? (Shops never seem to have the right size for me nor the right type of style of clothing)
- Is Sweden cold or at least less warm than most places? (Your pictures made me fall in love with Sweden i’m someone who can bear the heat and i hate summer + from what i’ve seen from your blog Sweden looks heavenly!)
- Where did you get your ear piercings? (I have mine pierced on each sides but i want more i went to jewelry stores to get them pierced once again and it got infected so i had to give up on them 💔)
- Do you have a favourite outfit? If yes would you be okay to share it here?
- Do you work out? (I’ve been working out a bit daily but i can’t achieve the results that i want, i ask you because for me you have the body that i use to have before becoming ill and i want it back so bad)
- How do you manage to have such self confidence? (I think you understood that i don’t really like myself and my appearance but i can’t do anything to change it & this whole glow up everyone talks about never happened to me so i don’t know what to do, either accept myself which is hard or try to change my appearance)

My skin is actually pretty bad. I mean, no massive boils or such but I struggle a lot with what I think is hormonal and/or stress related skin problems. So we're probably in similar situations! I am really not the person to give any advice in this case. But I just make sure to wash my face every day even when I haven't worn makeup. I moisturise every day, but other than that I'm not very good at sticking to a skincare routine. I've tried many different products but I don't see that big of a difference in how my skin is so I think the problem is more internal. ):
I've recently almost exclusively been buying clothes from vinted. The brands differ but I look for vintage cotton pieces mostly. I am a bit conflicted about my style. I like most of the things in my wardrobe but probably only wear about 10% of what's in there. I dress very boringly nowadays, as opposed to when I was a bit younger and wore skirts and cute dresses regularly. I suggest learning sewing basics to make clothes fit you better if you're not happy with the fit. I usually end up having to shorten skirts, dresses and trousers.
In general, yes! Sweden is a bit colder than other parts of Europe. We had 30 degrees celsius the other day which is pretty much the warmest it gets here (when it was probably 40+ in Germany and such!). Now it's around 20-22. Where I am, the coldest winter temperatures are about -25.
I got my piercings done at a piercing/tattoo studio. Most of them healed well, but when I did MMA for a while I had to take them out twice a week which made them angryyy and I ended up giving up on my conch and one of the regular piercings. So now I just have three normal lobe ones and a helix. And a normal one in my right ear.
Hmm I don't think I have a favourite outfit, but I'll try to post more photos of clothing! (I know I keep saying this... I'll try!!)
I'm not sure what body of mine you've seen because I don't really show it. When I do, it's probably hidden by clothing or just a small part of it. Or an old photo. However! I do not really exercise. I should! But mostly end up walking. I am not at the weight I want to be..
I'm not sure what made you think I am self confident. ♡ I have very very little confidence in myself. I just don't like to be too negative on here so I don't talk much about it. I try to sound confident sometimes when I'm arguing my rights to my own photos and such, but usually just end up very sad. I have always disliked myself a lot, I am working on acceptance as well. I don't think I'm the right person to ask, but I think the main thing to try to remember is that it really doesn't matter what you look like or how good you are at this and that. What's important is that you do your best and always try to be true to yourself. And to be grateful for whatever parts of our bodies work properly. Don't try to be someone else, you are perfectly good enough. But I know it's hard. Especially with social media being so superficial and all. Don't compare yourself to people who post themselves online. Nothing is 100% real on social media. ♡
Ooh I wouldn't say I'm either famous or popular! I may have been popular for a while here on tumblr but not anymore. And my instagram is very small as well. Which I definitely do not mind! I don't crave a big following. But anyway, thank you! Bring something precious to you that is small enough to fit in your bag or pocket. Squeeze/hold it when you feel uncomfortable. Try not to worry, do breathing exercises and look at pretty things. Smell flowers, look at insects, find little things so the big things don't feel so.. big or overwhelming. Wear clothing you're comfortable in. I like to pretend I'm just a shadow but it can be hard to stay in that state of mind when there's a lot going on.

Do things for yourself and your loved ones, not for strangers online. For the experience, not for posting about it. I feel no need to talk about my life or really even myself on here anymore, I just like posting photos sometimes but I get very little pleasure out of that now so I might stop eventually.
I answer messages out of politeness, often feeling a bit too exposed afterwards. (Which is why I sometimes end up making the private after a few days.)

Some days, more in the winter I think. But come summertime I garden quite a bit, work on crafting projects, watch films/series, redecorating etc. I do run out of gardening energy quick though. It's fun to start seeds and set everything up but after a while of weeding and watering and defending my plants from various pests I sort of crash. I also have pretty bad pollen allergy which limits me for about a month around mid june to mid july. I want to spend more time frolicking outside though.
do you think you will ever come back to your natural hair color?
I think I might try to get closer to it. It's hard when my hair is so long and already treated. I'd have to either bleach it and dye it something similar to my natural colour, or have strange two-tone hair and maybe try to soften the edge and let the sun bleach the lenghts...
I do prefer myself with darker hair but I've been feeling the need for some change. Perhaps I need to chop it off or just go a bit closer to my natural shade. Would make it easier to maintain as well. But not sure!

Aw congratulations! I know it sucks to be apart, I definitely lost my mind.
I moved in with him in maybeeee... 2019 or something, so four-ish years after we first met. But I spent a month or week here and there with him before actually moving in. I have no good advice I'm afraid, I was in a pretty dark place when he wasn't around as I have very bad separation anxiety.
But I think as long as you're good for each other, just be grateful and happy you've found them as I know some people spend their lives looking, or even settling with someone who isn't quite right for them. A balance between your own self and your relationship is important too, which might be something I was bad at. I sort of spent all of my time longing and waiting rather than working on myself or trying to have a nice time in my own time. But I think sending packages and letters was something that helped a lot! Sorry for rambling.

Yes! But we weren’t near, he lived in England and I in Sweden so it was a long distance relationship for quite a while. ♡ I understand it’s very hard to find someone who feels right, I feel very lucky to have found my soulmate so early in life (we met when I was 19). I wasn’t even looking, but perhaps that’s the trick?
