Right. Vulcan. The doctor had almost forgotten that fact, the childs eyes shone with the emotion he did a good job of hiding. Almost giving away the human side to the boy. Retracting his hand, he crossed his arms instead as he listened.Â
It was amusing almost, to hear such an adult way of speaking come from a child. Almost. It was also incredibly infuriating at the same time. It was a small comfort to know that the Spock he knew was less⌠Robotic than this small one before him.Â
At least he wasnât going to fight him in his wishes for testing though, that was something. With a nod and a small sigh, McCoy stood again, straightening his shirt as he did so.Â
    â Much appreciated, kid. â
He crossed back into the medbay towards a private room and waited for the younger Spock to follow him, whether if was for the good of the younger or the older Spock to keep this examination private was anyones guess. But McCoy would surmise that as a private race in general, this would be appreciated by at least one of them.Â
â It wonât take too long, I promise. Then you can
be on your way again, âright? â
Though Leonard spoke the words, he wasnât sure if he was telling the truth. Sure theyâd know more about if this genuinely was Spock, but if he could be on his way back to⌠Well back to where was the problem itself⌠But one that theyâd tackle when they came to it he was sure.Â
âI am quite sure I will require assistance on getting back home.â But he wasnât sure yet if the Doctor would help him once his examination was complete. Still, he had little reason to doubt him yet and followed obediently.Â
Hesitating once, just outside the Doctors private quarters. Strangers could not usually be trusted and while Spock may be stronger he wondered if he could outfight the much older man.
With a small inhale Spock finally joined the Doctor inside the suite. With a quick sweep of the room Spock found no immediate threats, and relaxed ever so slightly.Â
âDoctor, I must inquire, what will this examination entail.â
